I would move with him but my family in Idaho is more important to me than a guy. I am a family person.
You and every other woman out there our a family person.
Why is it women will cut themselves off at the knees rather than move away from family?
I know a good number of women, and I have only met one who was willing to leave her family behind to make sure she moved forward in life.
Friend of mine can't find a descent job in this area, has a number of offers from out of state and wants to go badly, but his wife can't stand the idea of moving away from her family. So he is stuck with a miserable low paying job in a crappy house he rents while she ****es about money woes.
Another woman, college grad, has job offers she turns down becouse she doesn't want to be away from her family.
My own mother, can't stand where she lives, yet every time i tell her to move "Oh, I can't, I'm the only one who can take care of my parents if something goes wrong".
I entirely can not comprehend why women do this. | |

Posted: 2/10/2006 7:08:37 PM | I'm a family person, I love what's left of my family, yet I moved over 1400 miles away from them.
It sounds like the women proteus are referring to are woman who are afraid of change and are using their families as an excuse. They just have to realize that life is one experience after another. If you really want to experience life you have to be willing to make a change, or you may miss out on the best experiences in life.
Another thing is your family will always be your family, they'll be on your side no matter what. So if you have to swallow your pride and return back to live in the area you grew up in, they'll always greet you with open arms. | |
