Posted: 2/16/2006 5:13:24 PM | Although everyone is urged to express their opinions in the forums, there are rules of decorum and civil behaviour to adhere to when participating in a moderated discussion forum. When you signed up for this service, you agreed to a set of rules outlined in the Terms of Service/User Agreement, or else you wouldn't have been able to proceed in the registration process, hence we assume you read them.
Nowhere is it stated, nor implied that total freedom of speech exists here, nor is this site considered a constitutional democracy. This site is a privately owned Canadian website for which you have been extended the courtesy to use providing you abide by the rules of the website, ie. the owner. Much like you have rules for your home when you are entertaining guests, they either abide by them or you ask them to leave - it's no different here.
Take note of the following rules and please adhere to them - failure to do so, may result in a forum posting suspension or your account deleted if non compliance persists. Although we don't like to resort to these measures, if problems persist - we must ensure to the best of our ability, the enjoyment of the forums for the greater population of users.

ADMINISTRATION OR MODERATOR PROTESTS ON THE FORUMS
Anyone that creates or participates in a Protest Thread, outlines any protest in their profile, posts any negative commentary with regards to moderation or administration, or discusses emails between moderators/adminsitration and themselves in their profiles/postings with respect to the Administration of this Site, instead of E-Mailing the Admin or one of the Moderators, will have their posting priviledges permanently revoked, banned forever, all Message Posts deleted, and every Trace and Symbol of that Poster from this Forum removed, depending on severity.

If you have valid concerns that you wish to make known with respect to Administration and Moderation of this site, or problems with another poster, the appropriate and only venue, is either in private email with either Admin, a particular Moderator, or the global Forum Moderator account (all found here --> Your Moderators), or if the concern is of a general nature that has nothing to do with Administration, Moderation or another poster, please post a thread, in a civil manner to the Plentyoffish Site/Suggestions/Help Forum.
