The purpose of this poll is to find out how many users i will never be able to reach because its not pay for use. Don't worry plentyoffish is never going paid :)

Posted: 2/17/2006 11:54:11 AM | I did once for a few months, then someone told me you can join free sites because all the same people are there too....... and looks like they were right :)
a person does not have to join a site and pay to contact someone.... being if they want to.
Most people have profiles on several sites and they can be found and they also use their screen names so you can IM them.
I love the POF forums, they are the best !
Some of the other sites now have forums but none are as good as POF
I wish all the sites had forums, its a great way to find people who your going to get along with and want to meet. The big pay sites do not have forums...

Posted: 2/17/2006 11:56:04 AM | This past year I have tried many of them...kinda experimenting...Yahoo, Match, Dreamdates,Perfectmatch,etc.
ALL paying. Just to see if I liked them. Had used a couple of them a long time ago...and met some pretty nice people on them. Some are not so great...some are OK...and a couple of the Biggies have really gone downhill I think. MANY "players" (abounding), and customer help/feedback terrible.
New to this site...but, so far, I like it. Has a nice balance of people, ages, and openness.
The Forums are great as well...learn alot!
P.S. Only conflict is that there are soooo many very cool, interesting guys here and they are IN CANADA! What's up with THAT! BUT...have always yearned to take a trip to B.C. and Vancouver Island.... :) | |

Posted: 2/17/2006 12:26:38 PM | I did pay once, and it was a huge waste of money... granted, it was only $9.95 for one month, but I still feel like I was ripped off. Never will use a pay site again, ever.

If you want to get rich, start a pay dating site and verify the person, the person's age and location, you will be rewarded nothing but success. Unfortunately, the internet is not policed and so the site must do some leg work or they only perpetuate the scam. | |
