Posted: 2/23/2006 2:08:46 AM | I joined this thing basically out of curiosity and to see who's out there; hoping to make new friends if nothing else.
I've received three abusive messages in the course of the last hour from another member who was at first unhappy that I didn't answer his initial message soon enough, even though I had read it. When I explained that I live in the bush and had a sporadic internet connection due to weather, he replied that I should go F*ck an eskimo. Okay, he said "a eskimo"...
And he described himself in his profile as a "nice guy".
I am still keeping an open mind and hoping to make some new friends. | |

I have always recieved a reply from everyone I sent a note to. Sooner or later, I get the replies. I dont even expect to get a reply from most girls because Im just sending compliments with no chance of us hooking up.
Keep on with POF. Its a great site. Maybe reword your profile a bit to discourage idiots.

So I just don’t contact anyone anymore if someone wants to get to know me, it is up to them. F*** an Eskimo ?!...well you know how it is up here in Alaska, for too many idiots prejudice is a way of life…and they use ethnic/racial decryptions just to hurt someone, regardless to which group you personally belong or not ! But you know if he was a man of thru convictions, he will go to one of the villages up here and tell the people there what he thinks about them, instead of hiding behind his too many guns and undersized D*** !.....LOL | |

I have never had the fun of being in the Bush but I live in what they call a Rural Community. Sounds like he was one that hopped on and thought the magic was going to happen in a flash! Tell him get a life and report him.

I would do what others have stated just block him and move on.
You have to remember that people can and sometimes will be ruder on the internet than they will be in person so aren't you glad that you found out now what type of person he is.
Also I think till you actually live in Ak and have experienced the whole bush living, erratic power, internet the whole gambit people can't really relate I know they try. | |
