| | Tubing March 11 at Mount Seymour...Page 1 of 3 (1, 2, 3) | Once my buttocks has fully healed from my recent snowboarding excursion, I would like a group of us to head up to Seymour and go tubing. If you wanna board or ski that's cool too I'm sure a load of you can go up together. Get lunch up there and just be kids.
So time to go there. Noonish (12) cool with everyone? Have a very light lunch so we don't throw up on the hill and then a couple hours of tubing, starting at about 12:45-1pm so we have time to eat.
Ok just called them, she said that it is before the lift your first parking lot on the right marked "Tobogganing Area"
Ok well the hours of operation are:
Friday, Saturday and holidays 10-8 Sunday - Thursday 10-6
Individual rates are:
2hrs - $15 additional hour - $6
Family (5 people) rates:
2hrs - $ 59 additional hour - $24
So if 5 of us went for 2 hrs it would be 11.80 + tax. I can take up to 5 people just in my suv 3 in back so a little squishy :P just love thy neighbour.
Please have the proper gear, the last thing we need is someone getting too cold and bringing us down with complaints :P You can rent pants and coats up at Seymour at the rentals, but I would call just to confirm that. I would love to go March 4, buttocks permitting, but would have to do it late morning - early afternoon since I have a concert to go to that night. Or we can make it for the 8th if the 4th is too soon.

If any mods would be so kind to move this I would love that :) If not I'll contact one in a few days to have it moved to the party threads...
Edit - Vert that would be awesome. I'll see how many people are interested and then pm you if we have enough people.

| Anyone up for tubing? Posted: 2/24/2006 5:22:10 PM | I'd say bring her, hun. I'm not bringing my kids but she can go up with us, i have a seat if you so choose to ride shot gun with me :P
And I'll make the executive decision to do it on the 11th so that people, ahem*V*ahem, can get their stuff in order :P
I'll ask one of the mods to move this for me now to the sign up thread so please add yourself so I can contact vert and see about what kind of rate we can get. If no different than the family rate, it's still only 12 bucks about for a couple of hours and lunch...not bad at all!

| Anyone up for tubing? Posted: 2/26/2006 8:32:26 PM | Some tips guys...you don't HAVE to drive up..there is a shuttle bus. leaving at Phibbs/Parkgate and Lonsdale Quay.
Also..you can Hitch hike up the hill. I do that ALL the time, gas is expensive driving up every day. People WILL pick you up..that's part of they seymour culture really. You just have to make it up early, when the exodus occurs.
I haven't decided if I am going to drive up there that day, I may not be able to even work..if I can, I'll be there. I'll find out tomorrow.
