| LADIES WHAT IS THE NICEST THING A MAN EVER DID FOR YOU.. Posted: 1/28/2005 4:20:13 PM | there are several things that come to mind...and usually just the simple things...like when I was driving home from a guys house...he called a couple of minutes after I left to make sure I was Ok to drive...was late....(had not been drinking) and I thought that was sweet he was concerned.... then about 15 minutes later he called and asked if I was in front of wal mart yet...as he knew how long it took to drive there and was watching the clock...the it really made me melt.... and finally said to call him when I got home to let him know I made it..... and the reward went much further than a kiss...:-)...but ya know the thing is...it was just that he was doing what really any guy should do...ya know make sure the girl gets home if he isn't driving her...but so many these days don't pay attention to stuff like that....
I had a guy once import some dr. pepper for me while I was spending a week in his country where at that time they didn't sell dr. pepper....he knew I liked it..... I never would have expected him to do it... it made me think...he knew me...knew something that I liked and took the time to buy it and have it brought into the country....was a really cool feeling.....

| LADIES WHAT IS THE NICEST THING A MAN EVER DID FOR YOU.. Posted: 1/28/2005 8:44:17 PM | The nicest thing a man has ever done for me: I was to go into the hospital for surgery on a Friday morning @ 6:am, I am terrified of hospitals, REALLY, and my friend knew this. It’s the smell, the white-gray of the walls, the quite shoes, the needles, I am so terrified of hospitals.
He called me Thursday night around 11:pm and we talked ALL NIGHT LONG. We talked until I had to leave for the hospital at 5:30 am Friday to be there by 6:am. He stayed on the phone until my daughter came to pick me up, spoke to her, and then wished me luck, blew me a kiss, and let her take me to the hospital.
I was out of surgery at 2:30 pm but of course I was still not ‘really’ there, but he called. He spoke to my daughter, ask about the surgery, how it went, and if I was ok. Then he called back the next morning to speak to me. The same day a beautiful bunch of pink and yellow baby roses came, he had order these from the florist in the hospital.
This man lived in Melbourne, Australia and I was in Austin, Texas, 15 hours difference in time, I had never met this man, we were pen pals friends on the Internet and had been for 5 months. When I took a trip to Australia I made a point of meeting him to thank him for what he did for me. He is still my friend today, we have been friends for 5 years now.

| LADIES WHAT IS THE NICEST THING A MAN EVER DID FOR YOU.. Posted: 1/29/2005 7:50:47 PM | I would have to say I have had nice things done by different men. I have one friend who has driven miles to fix my broken car on many different occasions.
I have a male friend who has also repaired my car when the other mechanic couldn't and I have never paid either a cent other than the part.
I had a neighbor who would come over and give me foot rubs I rewarded him with a home cooked meal.
A man once came from a tire shop when my tire fell off my car and rolled past me and he put it back on and put on new lug nuts and checked out all the tires and never charged me a dime
A guy came over a couple weeks ago and was helping me to move furniture and spotted some mold on the wall and I get migraines from the smell of bleach and he bleached the walls for me.
All in all I think in general most men are caring guys and you reap what you sow. I have never been asked to reward them with anything.

| LADIES WHAT IS THE NICEST THING A MAN EVER DID FOR YOU.. Posted: 2/1/2005 1:09:00 PM | Actually, several different things....
He came to spend the day with me and not only had lunch with me and my parents but went with me to get my kids and wished we had more time to spend with the kids. If I'm headed home from his house, he talks to me all the way home- 60 + miles late at night.
He accepts me for who I am... who I want to be.... my kids... and even my ex husband being who he is....

| LADIES WHAT IS THE NICEST THING A MAN EVER DID FOR YOU.. Posted: 2/2/2005 3:34:25 AM | The nicest thing a guy ever did for me was listen to me, understand me and pick up on a lot of little unsaid things and details about myself. He accepted me for me. He knew me better then I knew myself. He loved me unconditionally and was ALWAYS there for me. (we never dated) He was my lil guardian and well now he's up in heaven really watching down on me - having lots of great laughs at my expense no doubt.
How did I reward him? By returning the favour.

| LADIES WHAT IS THE NICEST THING A MAN EVER DID FOR YOU.. Posted: 2/18/2005 6:34:46 PM | | The nicest thing was at a wedding reception in the middle of winter. The band was playing a slow song and my boyfriend asked me to come with him outside for a minute. He had spotted a gazebo outside the building where you could still hear the music. He slow danced with me out there in the freezing temperatures with everyone else looking at us. We were in our own little world out there and didn't even notice the cold. Oh, I rewarded him with much more than a kiss he he | |

| LADIES WHAT IS THE NICEST THING A MAN EVER DID FOR YOU.. Posted: 5/24/2005 4:41:47 PM | | Well, after being in an abusive marriage for nearly 10 years, any thing a guy does is nice. However, lately? Brought me a burger and fries at midnight (drove 45 minutes from his place) just to see me. Tells me I'm pretty/cute/beautiful/gorgeous. Bares his heart. Unexpectedly kissed me. | |

And no he's not my B/F anymore..-- it was in the past..

| LADIES WHAT IS THE NICEST THING A MAN EVER DID FOR YOU.. Posted: 5/24/2005 6:04:14 PM | Well there are lots of things I can remember,
One guy when I had to cancel plans to go out with him because of child care issues. He came over and brought homemade lasagna and a few beers and hung out with me. I thought the dinner was great. He did this a few times.
There are all kinds of sweet gestures when my son was sick in the hospital and I hadn't slept for days another guy brought me dinner. I don't there are a lot more but that is just sweet.

| LADIES WHAT IS THE NICEST THING A MAN EVER DID FOR YOU.. Posted: 5/24/2005 6:39:07 PM | Stood up for me when someone was being mean to me. That is key with me...fought for us as a relationship as a hole.
I admire him starring at me all the time, paying attention like when I was tired...he would tell me..honey why don't you go to bed you look really tired. Go get some rest...did not have to buy me the world just the more simple things of life.
