Do you like strong, or softer sents?
If you smell some guy will you look at him cuz he has cologne on?

| Does perfume really work? Posted: 3/2/2006 3:42:45 PM | i'm not a fan of really uber strong intoxicating scents but there are some that are strong but very nice
some of my favorites on a guy are Givenchy one with the pi sign on it ( i think its called homie can't remember tho), , and most scents of axe body sprays, there are others but i don't know what they are called

A friend of mine baths in it... seriously when I get in his truck I have to roll the window down and another friend of mine gets an instant headache... that is too much!
But a nice wiff... just to grab the girls attention... SUPER HOT!!!

| Does perfume really work? Posted: 3/2/2006 3:55:22 PM | Cologne DOES really work. It's hot when you smell a guy that you just can't resist... Hahaha, there's even been cases when it's the cologne and not the guy I have been into!
...
that's sad.
Anyway, Not too much, but just enough that makes you go...Mmmmmm. But if it's cheap crap, it will make me do the opposite and run for the door! Icky. Nothing worse than a gross scent!

Guys just remember, if a girl smells a certain cologne on you, and then smells it somewhere else it'll trigger her nerves and remind her of you ;)

It smells nice at first, then I can't smell anything, so it kinda bugs me.
It's fine in moderation.

| Does perfume really work? Posted: 3/2/2006 6:03:18 PM | I guess that would depend on if you are wearing it to cover another smell up....LOL!!
Did I say that??

When mixed with his bodys natural smell and chemistry it can be Very, Very Appealing. It can also turn You off Quickly. My favorite men's cologne is Tommy Bahama, sweet and spicy, but nevertheless a very Manly formulation... Personally, I love perfume. Manufactured scents can definatley be a draw for women, but the real test is if the man's Natural body scent attracts a women, that can be a Turn-On or turn-off too. The Nose Knows....As much as I Love Tommy Bahama, if a man's natural scent can arouse me or capture my attention, then that always has a more powerful effect than cologne. I hope that helps.

| Does perfume really work? Posted: 3/2/2006 7:49:50 PM | I tend to get migraines from scents which doesn't really make me want to snuggle up if you know what I mean...
and the only time a scent will make me look at a guy is when he's wearing too much, that's probably not the attention you want.
Less is more in my book | |

| Does perfume really work? Posted: 3/2/2006 7:54:23 PM | | depends on who you want to attract...cause i HATE stetson....yuk...so its a personal preference but scent is very important for attracting someone of the opposite sex | |

| Does perfume really work? Posted: 3/2/2006 10:50:44 PM | ohh but it can backfire too
I went on a few dates with a guy I kind of liked, but his cologne I really hated...and then I was going to try to tell him politely not to wear that cologne so I thought the best way is if I come up with a story that my Father used to wear the same scent hence it's a complete turn off. He was over my place one day (and since he just came form poker he wasn't wearing ANY cologne! thank god) I asked him what kind of cologne he was wearing on our previous date...lol funny thing is that he actually DID wear Drakkar Noir!! The one my father used to wear!! So I didn't have to make up the story...I just told him ohhh that explains it why I didn't like it...sorry but not very conducive to romance
Haven't seen him since (he is overseas for a couple of weeks) so we'll see what happens when he comes back...

| Does perfume really work? Posted: 3/2/2006 10:56:26 PM | Ohh and one more way it can backfire...you can be ID'd by it
I have been wearing the same parfume since I was about 16, it's just the only scent I like with my own body chemistry...anyway since it is the ONLY thing I ever wear often friends and bf's eventually ID that smell as "me." The other day I was on a date and was sitting at a pub talking to my date and I looked up and there was standing my ex bf nearby looking away though...he is a nice guy and we still talk but I didn't want him to see me on a date because I know it would hurt his feelings. So I tried sort of turn invisible...but he turned around and came right up to me...and he said he actually walked by looking for a friend and then BAMM the "me" smell hit him so he knew I am close by...BUSTED

| Does perfume really work? Posted: 3/2/2006 11:15:26 PM | | I think that cologne in moderation is nice...my personal favorite is Realm...but I prefer a man to smell clean, showerfresh. I love the smell of a man after he has been working hard...a little musky, natural... | |
