| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 3/3/2006 6:23:23 PM | Is it just me, or do you find it strange & suspicious that some men have pictures with sunglasses on, or from far away, or with a bunch of attractive women in their pictures? I think that any guy using their main profile photo with sunglasses on, has something to hide or else he's married or involved with someone. Guys who have pictures with a bunch of women indicates insecurity or trying to show off that they can be around attractive women = RED FLAG! You can't even get a true feel for what they truly look like. If someone e-mails me with either:
1. sunglasses on 2. pictures with a bunch of women 3. pictures from far away 4. no picture
I'm not likely to respond.

| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 3/3/2006 7:02:56 PM | Now, lets hear from those of us who actually choose to put that picture with the glasses out here!
I, dont have alot of pictures to put out here, So, I put what I did have.....Well, I think just posting a picture is a big step for some of us....Now, once we have made that leap into the publics view, I dont think its fair that anyone here should be so critical to judge Me or any one else with or without glasses.....My Eyes arent crooked, and I am not hiding anything.. As you may notice, I am well tanned, and spend most of my days working in the Sun, by choice!! Part of that includes wearing Sunglasses...Now, would you prefer I post a picture that doesnt really represent who I really am?
Lets hear it from everyone!!

| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 3/3/2006 7:04:47 PM | | I don't get the men who post pictures with other women. Don't they know that is a turn off for other women. They are suppose to be on here looking for a woman. It would be like a woman posting a pic with a bunch of good looking guys, they would be turned off. LOL | |

| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 3/3/2006 7:26:32 PM | I like the sunglasses!! I stay away from guys with a different chick in every picture they have on their profile. That totally screams player to me. Thing is, they really might be decent guys, but I think it just ruins it. | |

| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 3/3/2006 7:35:02 PM | | Just because a guy chooses to post a picture wearing sunglasses doesn't mean anything. It's probably part of who he is, what he does, even where or when the picture was taken. I also don't have a problem with pictures from far away or profiles with no pics. Everybody has a reason and a right to do what they do without instant judgement as to why. Now a picture with a bunch of girls might be questionable but then again everything is not always as it seems. | |

| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 3/3/2006 7:45:00 PM | I don't have a real problem with the sunglass photos, some of them are rather hot
BUT...for me the eyes are a BIG thing so if I'm wondering if I find someone attractive, I have to see the eyes too. I once met a guy at a concert who looked like a total hottie, then he took off his sunglasses and NOPE, didn't do it for me...at all!!! If I meet someone for the first time and they are wearing sunglasses, I will ask them to take them off so I can see their eyes..put 'em back on after I've seen the whole package
I agree about the photos with women though, what are the thinking? There are a few I've seen that have explained in their profile that the woman is his daughter, sister or whatever and that works I guess but hanging on a bunch of women in a photo and on here wanting to be seen as a possible connection???

| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 3/3/2006 8:11:11 PM | chellelea- I agree with you. Eyes are usually the clincher for me. Do not like not being able to see someones eyes. My feeling is the eyes are the windows to the soul. You can tell alot about a person by looking into their eyes.
When interviewing for a new job you are to look the interviewer in the eyes. Why? Because it shows a comprehension of what is being said and bridges a gap..thereby creating trust.
One pic with sunglasses is ok but must also have some without.

| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 7/17/2008 5:07:42 PM | | I have pictures of me with sunglasses, without sunglasses and with my glasses. Most of the time I wearing what I have on, I am not posing or anything premeditated. As far as distance and close, I am just lucky to have a few pictures!!! And those are taken by my son(8yrs old). Yes..players or men who like a bunch of women at one time are easy to see, just look at the pictures. You will see what you look for...If you know what you are looking for!!!!! | |

| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 7/17/2008 5:58:28 PM | | I do not automatically suspect the worse. Some people are active outdoors and have others snap pictures when they have their glasses on. Pictures far away, could just be bad photography lol, pictures with bunches of women, does make me wonder. No, picture I read the profile and give the benefit of the doubt. If I find that I have been deceived, it's only one meeting. | |

| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 7/17/2008 6:07:30 PM | Hats hide hair color and lack of hair. The last guy I dated is in total denial and the close up picture of him he has a hat on to hide his white hair that is listed as brown.
I don't get hiding behind sunglasses. You see pictures of men inside with them on. I don't know why they do that. It isn't difficult to get pictures now days. There is no excuse. You can put like 8 photos on here. If a guy can't afford to buy a cheap disposable camera and have some pictures taken and developed on a disk, how can he afford to go on dates?
Of course then we have the old photos, seems like that is just lying to me.

| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 7/17/2008 6:25:37 PM | | No its not just you I feel every word you are saying. Guys with those pictures on their profile I don not respond to either. Just a waste of time . They may be any number of things besides it might just be a picture with them pasted in it and they might be looking for a free ride if you get the picture. I believe every word you said is true. One fools fall for that shit Dumb ass fools that don not know any better or can not read through a deceiving lying person. Don't listen to these foolish ***hole that responding to you because they might be one of those people you are talking about. Women need to stop letting these deceiving ass men tricking out of their security comfort zone. Now bank on that. | |

| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 7/17/2008 6:32:04 PM | Be very careful what you ask and and why. These are very real serious responses.
Why are you always so stiff legged? I have a wooden leg.
Why is your hand always in your pocket? Because I lost severl fingers.
Why do you never smile? Because I have no teeth.
Why do you always wear a hat? Had chemo and lost my hair.
You have gained a lot of weight. Gee I am PG
OH, you are having a baby? No I am just fat.
Why do you always were loose fitting clothes? Because I had a masectomic (sp)
Why do you wear sunglass all the time? Becasue I lost my eye.
Yes, one or more of these have happend to me when I ask a stupid quesiton.

| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 7/17/2008 6:56:33 PM | I've got to agree with Chelle -- I do find sunglasses irresistible in some ways, although I love eyes, too. So I guess my perfect picture of a guy would consist of him peeking over the sunglasses. Eyes are really important to me, though. Maybe I'm reading too much into things, but I feel like a guy who is always shielding his eyes has something to hide. Fine if you've got one or two pictures in your profile featuring you in shades (heck, I do), but I want at least one picture showing the eyes, too. It just makes me feel like a person is more open.
As far as girls in profile photos, I'm not a fan. I think guys do it to try to demonstrate that they're attractive to women, but the only people you're going to impress with that is other guys. Most women are not impressed by seeing a guy with girls hanging all over him. When I see a profile like that, I typically just keep looking. You're either going to come across as intimidating, or far too loose. (Well, the "male" version of loose, anyway.)

| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 7/17/2008 7:06:28 PM | What gets me is the men who wear their sunglasses......with their motorcycle helmets on also!! Talk about hiding!! I don't care about the bike.....I want to see the man!
And yes men, it is a turn off to have other women in your pictures. You lower your chances by doing that.

| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 7/17/2008 7:44:51 PM | I'm crushed... I really am. Next thing you know your gonna say you don't like bald men!
Sorry some of us don't sit around and pose for pics all the time. I, personally, am usually on the wrong side of the camera, as I would much rather take a pic then be in one!
But it doesn't matter, because I KNOW I am beautiful ... look at the name!

| Men who wear sunglasses in their profiles Posted: 7/17/2008 8:13:19 PM | I think pictures taken with sunglasses on usually look cool. But, I think it is better if they also have a full facial shot in their profile. I mean, eyes really are the windows of the soul. Well, except Ted Bundy's
