| Canadians.... Posted: 3/3/2006 7:26:29 PM | I have to say this. I was born & raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I have been living in California for 6 years. When I read forums from Canadians, I get so homesick! Kudos to Canadians: down to earth, intelligent, friendly, open, warm, sincere people. How I miss interacting with people like that! Don't get me wrong, there are great Americans out there, but on the whole, Canadians tend to be...Canadian. I enjoy being able to read all of your opinions! :) | |

| Canadians.... Posted: 3/4/2006 2:54:27 AM | THANK YOU! Someone else that sees it too.
I was born and live in Toronto, Ontario (Canada for those southerners that don't know where that is...and believe me there are many! lol)
I've been down south here in Florida since the end of Dec/05 on somewhat of a vacation. I have a new house that was just bought here as I'm thinking of relocating (time for a change of pace/scenery).
However, I really do miss the Canadian friendliness/hospitality. People speak of "southern hospitality" but where is it? I don't see it! I find Canadians (in general, of course there are always exceptions to these generalizations) to be much more intelligent, outgoing, warm, friendly and hospitable. I even met a girl that's visiting here from Toronto a few days ago and she was saying the same thing about people down here compared to us canuks.
to my Canadian brothers and sisters....lol
