Kez, I have a handful of bikes at present. For work, I have a BMW K100LT and a Yam XJ900, I have another XJ900 which has been given the street-fighter look, for Sunday best (down to Boxhill with a pillion), I have a Virago 1100 (which took two of us to the south of France last summer), and, my personal favourite for all-round looks and performance, a 750 Vulcan, currently having the top-end sorted.

Not really a speed-freak, and none of the current models move me enough to get the cash together.

Gary….. you ride a “mean nasty scornful woman?”

Look up the word Virago some time. The 1100 is a good bike. Strong and fast.

Lol, Piere, hey, the word even has a masculine ending to show how mean a virago is.

My ex lovingly built a Triumph Daytona from a basket of bits over a period of 5 years, I actually shed a tear when I had to sell It.

You have a Heart of steel. I loved that bike, there is nothing like the throb of a Triumphs engine between your legs.

Blackwidow: yes, your right there is nothing like a Triumph but there are things “different". Sit on harley or S&S. It has to be one that someone done some work with. Stock bikes need a little “vibration improvement”

Kez…. You little tattoo freaky-de , Let me know when you need a re-fill.

No room on me push bike!!
I only had a couple of Bikes Ex PO BSA 125 used to go scrambling on the slag heaps in Doncaster no one stayed on the back !! bit mad then!!then ( exscuse while I swear in public Lambreta 250 LI) found out very rapid scooters aint Bikes!! Then had Yami 350 got nicked had a honda 50 to get me to work while sorting out insurance on the Yami, That got nicked as well, gave it up as bad job no where to keep one securly. I always wanted a Honde 250 Dream or Honda 400 4. Keep thinking must take bike test !! but never get round to it still got no where to keep one safe!

Hey All....
i own a 1979 USA HondaXR500 competition bike... its my pride and joy... had it for 10 years this year... i wouldnt let it go for anything... its my nod to steve mcqueen and the good old 4 stroke singles...

Would love a BMW - f650 Dakar or the big beast of a bike the GS1200 adventurer..
Also would love an old harley flat track racing bike too.. and i cant look at sports bikes, to much temptation to ride em hard and fast!!!... one day maybe
