Posted: 3/6/2006 7:56:54 PM | I have been reading several posts on here about people from the Youngstown area meeting. What I have noticed is that no one has actually planned one!! It is all talk. Something else that I know - talking doesn't make it happen!!
I am a member of a club here in Salem (northern Columbiana county) and I want to plan a party for all singles to enjoy! We have a large back room - a full bar - an enclosed deck- and Bocce courts. Did I mention that I also own a DJ service?? We can open the bar and the courts - fire up the grill and have a great time! This a chance for people from Mahoning and Columbiana counties to finally get together. The drinks are cheap, the entertainment is FREE!
I will give this enough time to "reach the people" but I am not going to procrastinate!! It WILL be in the next 2 months... we want the nice weather!

Posted: 3/6/2006 10:37:13 PM | OK guys and gals... I just personally invited 56 girls from this site alone. I have already had 1 decline (2 minutes after I invited her). I guess that we will find out in the near furure how many people just talk the talk!!
I will be inviting the guys tomorrow. Don't forget to spread the word. The more we get the better the time we will ALL have and the better the chance we each have to find what it is we are looking for! | |

So now I gotta ask you ladies to spread the word for us. YOU invite the kind of guys that you would like to see there. Tell them about the thread so they can give thier input and sign-up, so to speak.

I am now thinking about changing the theme.... we may all be single, some may want to hook-up, some may be just looking for a good time (take that how you wish)... BUT - I am guessing that everyone knows how to have fun??? So here we go... NO PRESSURE!! LET'S HAVE A PARTY!!!!
NO MORE "SINGLES GATHERING".... JUST A PARTY… that involves singles....

I have reserved the back room, the deck and the bocce courts at the Italian American Club in Salem (250 Penn Ave. for those of you using mapquest). I am planning a BBQ starting at 5:00 on Saturday, May 13th. We will cookout on the patio, play some bocce and I will be playing music in the bar for the rest of the evening. The food will be supplied by us, the music by me and the drinks are cheap! I am talking $1.50 a beer (most mixed drinks are under $2 too).
So, let me know who is coming and what you would be able to bring. There is a hotel less than a block away (for those who might need it).

I am a driver for DD4Hire.com - I will see if I can't work something out with a co-worker for the evening. (Should there be enough interest for the service.)
Terry, you mentioned in the other post that you could offer a ride? If you scroll up westsider needs a ride, maybe you can take care of him. And also, about the dog - I doubt Timerlanes will allow and I know that the club doesn't. Sorry guy. But if you get a rate - let us know.
