| What is the worst internet dating site you have been on? Posted: 3/10/2006 6:59:31 PM | Okay in no particular order they are:
RSVP Lavalife Yahoo Personals and Findsomeone (FSO)
The reasons for RSVP was because well because not because I met my ex there but because of their sheer money making exercise that you had to buy credits and if you didn't use them within 6 months you forfeited them and they never ever contacted you that the 6 months was nearly up. They still keep in contact with me about events.
Lavalife was quite strange I signed up initially to put my profile up and then I thought might give it a go in contacting people met someone dated initially for only 3 weeks then she left me because she was still seeing her ex and also a person in a wheelchair and me so she didn't want to hurt the ex's feelings- what about mine and the guy in the wheelchair and what made matters worse she appears on Yahoo Personals and also Lavalife as completely different ages- she changes her age every month one month she might be 24 the other month 31 and other month 28 and the other month she is 30. or 32 or 35.
Yahoo Personals was sort of okay very expensive though at around $100.00 it tips the scales as being rather expensive. The ads there are quite good but there are some people who might respond and there are some who might not respond but thats ok.
Lastly Find Someone was banned permantly from posting messages in their opinion board all because I stood up for my own two feet when I was attacked. They claim if you are standing up for your two feet you are "promoting negative thoughts on the opinion boards". Also, I couldn't handle how they banned people for little things such as what Dream got banned for saying Blow Job.
Amazing Find Someone will not let you use the word Penis, Vagina, or even sex or even f*ck or even something like that because they claim that is vulgar and disgusting makes you wonder if it isn't being run by the Catholic Church. It should be noted that Find Someone administrators come from New Zealand and if you have a complaint, suggestion or compliment it takes them 7 to 14 days to respond to e-mails or sometimes not at all. The only way I got them to respond within 24 hours was to tell them they will be reported to Fair Trading and then they responded so quickly and didn't apologise but you got a straight answer out of them.

| What is the worst internet dating site you have been on? Posted: 3/10/2006 7:53:36 PM | lol...I've been banned at a couple sites including this one...
Here for posting off topic...when actually I was on topic but was being subtle...at the other site Sexy Ads(my favorite forum)..I was banned for defending myself from an attacker...of course I defended by doing an all out asault on the people attacking me...one was a mod and he got dis mod ed after that war...
The worst sites I've tried are Match Doctor because it's nothing but scammers...fake people, russian bride types of scams... Another bad one is Adult Friends Finder...scams and all pay if you want to do anything..

Wasn't Fairfax Trading who tookover RSVP or was it News Limited not too sure but I am sure that Fairfax Trading tookover RSVP.

| What is the worst internet dating site you have been on? Posted: 4/16/2006 9:38:25 PM | This is the second of these type Sites I have been on.The Other site where you try to find somebody, many of us know about. The Negative aspects on the other site were so many dysfunctionals,so many Players,Liars and Abusers and thats amongst the Men.There are some good People there too of course who I still keep intouch with. The site is sad in a way as so many of the Women there{Not all}have very little awareness due to their own Issues, leaving them wide open to the Morons,Liars and Abusers. | |

| What is the worst internet dating site you have been on? Posted: 4/17/2006 4:06:33 AM | I'm on RSVP, this site, Findsomeone and Honey Dating.
The last is one was created by a friend but with too few people on it yet for it to be viable.
RSVP is expensive - but I seem to have more luck there - possibly because of the huge choice.
I'm a regular on Findsomeone and have made many good friends there. I agree it has its scammers, players etc, but doesn't everywhere? I suspect this site is no different... people will be people will be people.. and you need to keep your eyes open.
Gidday Tony, Dave, Dream, Abyss - hope you all had a wonderful easter!!!

| What is the worst internet dating site you have been on? Posted: 4/17/2006 10:25:44 PM | What bugs me is if you do a search for a intro \ dating site and also use the word FREE All these sites come along that want to rip you off to contact a ‘questionable’ lady. Hell how do we know if this lady is realy there, or just one name on a long list of ‘psudo’ dates | |

Even if you have made the payment to contact someone, The person who receives your message has to make a payment to contact you back. I would say that isn't cricket.

| What is the worst internet dating site you have been on? Posted: 6/19/2006 3:23:43 PM | Well I find they are all much of a muchness, with the exception of POF of course! by virtue of being free.
There are users and liars and players on ALL the sites, including this one, don't forget about that. But there are also genuine people on all the sites too - after all you guys are there, and you're being honest right?
I've never met anyone from POF, although I think I've made a couple of friends here, which is really nice. Been out with a couple from lavalife, 2 months each, neither one worked out. And have just met someone from RSVP....I'm in trouble with him I think
The sites are there, approach with caution, and before complaining about the cost of a stamp/credit/whatever, think about it....meet someone in a bar and offer to buy them a drink. How much does that cost? How often have you done it? Only to find out you have no interest in them after 5 minutes. Or they finish the drink and walk away? I think the cost on the paid sites is fairly reasonable, although I think the "expiry" on the credits isn't...that's just not fair!

I really like this site and I am trying my hardest to comply with the rules

| What is the worst internet dating site you have been on? Posted: 6/21/2006 2:39:45 AM | | lol tim42!! I think that the phone thing must be a guy thing and that the online chat must be a girl thing!! I love chatting online but after a couple of minutes, nearly every guy that I chat to tells me to phone him. I'd rather chat online for a few times before I ring somebody. Is this just me or is it usual for women to want to do this before speaking on the phone? | |
