| What do we like about men/women?
Posted: 3/13/2006 6:14:24 PM | (yes I did a thread search, haha) There are those of us that just generally speaking like the opposite sex. To those of you whose delicate sensitivies may be offended, apologies are offered in advance.
I like it when men are tough and strong and yet can be soft and tender, too. I like the soft touch of a big, strong hand that holds yours gently. I love seeing a dad walking with his little girl, or picking her up and kissing her cheek. I like to see a man grab an umbrella and hold it over his lady when it's raining or run to get the car for her. | |

I love when he gives me flowers just because I went to dinner with him...
I love the way he calls to say goodnight....
I love that he was willing to wait until I was ready to have sex... and never made me feel bad about it...
I love how he treats his mother and the respect he has for his father...
I am sure there is more... but I need to make a call... ;) | |

I love the way he bows his head and peers over the top of his sunglasses and waggles his eye brows.
I love the way he comes up behind me and wraps his strong arms around me.
I love the deep rumble of a man's voice.
I love to watch a man interact with kids...particularly when he's holding a wee baby.
I appreciate, adore and love all the differences, nuances and ways of being that a man offers a woman...and I'd be lost without them.

I like that men are so much more comfortable in and with their bodies.
I like that they generally shoulder the burden of being "the man" so well.
I like the way they enjoy silence and solitude more than us.
I like that they are usually willing to spare us the rugged and/or icky tasks.
I like that they find pleasure in the least fussy things and ways.
I like their logical, straight-line thinking.
I like their sense of adventure and playfulness.
I like that they don't have to talk everything out and analyse it a dozen different ways.
I like that they are less likely to care what other people think.
I think these are also the things I envy. | |

They smell of freshly washed hair of a woman.
And of course my favorite...
The innocent look a girl has on her face when she is spacing / thinking about something that makes her happy. That just down right melts me | |

I love thier rough hands that can be so gentle.
I love being enveloped in a nice long hug in thier strong arms, and when they inhale deeply to smell your hair.
I love that they yell at the tv when sports are on.
I love when they choose not to say something, because saying something would mean opening up a new can of worms that women would not hesitate to open.
I love thier protective nature of those they love.
I love that they all seem to know 'guy things' like how to fix a sink even if they've never owned a home.
I miss having one around. | |

When your just sitting, standing or whatever, and they kiss you. At that moment they just wanted to feel your lips. To say something without saying anything. Posted: 3/13/2006 9:00:49 PM | I like the way a womens body was meant to look, or at least how I think it should. Hour glass figure. No not really skinny or really lean, or anorexic. She could be heavier, but as long as she is not obese.
I like long hair, or short hair.
Blue eye are always great, but really I don't always notice the color, just how they compliment the overal look.
The way they dress. I really could care less if they are wearing joggers or jeans or a dress. Women seem to be able to wear anything and look attractive.
Their perfume.
Their smile.
Their laugh. When they laugh over something you said, it makes a guy feel great.
Their activity level. I love it when women get their hands dirty, whether it be through their everyday job/career, or breaking a sweat at the gym. It shows that they don't have to be looked after from cradle to grave.
Touch. Although I have experianced very little when it comes to close contact with a women. Just a hug or an arm around my shoulder or holding hands, seems to give off a feeling like no other, it is hard to describe. It makes a guy/gal feel wanted, needed, like they matter.
I am sure their are a lot more things I could list. I am attracted to a million different things. Not just the stereotype "Super Model Asthetics" that all women seem to think men like.
I really wish that more women would realize that I notice a lot more things about them than just their looks. The physical part is just what sort of stirs interest in knowing more. If the girl doesn't have anythng to offer besides a nice body, then they aren't for me. But it seems that no matter what, every girl assumes that I am superficial. | |

-their after shaved smell(or their perfume/cologne)
-with cheeky smile(when they tease)
-hug me from behind(and rest his head on my head haha)
-when they eat (how they chew the food in their mouth,sexy haha)
-when they look u deep into ur eyes when ur talking(tho they're not actually understand lol)
-when he hold my hand so gently with his big hand
-tease me with his soft kiss on my neck/ear
-when he runs his fingers thru my hair(n whisper everything would be ok)
-who take cares of his family
-who has a lot of love to give(as well as to receive)
-who not scared of taking risk

~When something happens men get mad, yell, hit something, whatever and it's over... AMEN! Women do the catfight thing, then pretend everything is great until one day years down the road and suddenly it's an issue again. Don't hold on to it- let it go!
To a more romantic level....
~sincerity- when he looks me in the eyes and gives me the straight up truth; there's just nothing better.
~tenderness- something I think everyone might like in a partner.
~strength- I don't mean just physical strength here guys, I mean that stuff that lurks inside as well.
~intelligent conversation- You don't have to be a rocket scientist, but if he's keeping my interest, it's intelligent conversation.
~family values- caring about your family and making them an important part of your life... 'nuff said. | |
