Posted: 3/16/2006 12:37:35 PM | I've seen posts on here with guys whining that women are mainly looking for the rugged, athletic and/or tall, dark and handsome look in guys. Well I pretty much agree with that. You can't really tell on this site, but on some of the other dating sites like match.com.......you can see it with your own eyes. I would say well over 1/2 of the women that I would think about e-mailing on there have this in their profile: Under the hair color category they have the following: "Black, brown, dark brown, blond, dark blond, or gray". Ok, this sucks because I'm a redhead! Sure there are women who don't really care about a guy's hair color......but for the most part (at least alot of the women I would think of e-mailing) women don't like redheads. Like I said earlier, on this site you can't tell that preference because it's not listed. Try browsing on match.com or any other site that has physical attributes listed and you'll find it's true. So you guys that think you have it tough because you're not "athletic" or "tall and dark"......think again :) Give whole new meaning to "red-headed stepchild" LOL  Oh yeah, this same discrimination does not apply to women......most guys LOVE redheaded women hahaha | |

Posted: 3/18/2006 3:58:36 PM | These comments are kind of funny because I actually dyed my hair red recently because I'm a natural blonde and keep hearing guys say how much they hate blonde women. So now I don't know what to do. :P
If it makes you feel any better, I know of one redheaded guy who just got married and an attractive 24 year old girl who's dating a tall, redheaded guy. I admit, I'm usually not into red haired guys, but I think both of these guys I mentioned are very attractive and would have dated them (if they were available of course). So not all women discriminate fully or at all, just hang in there. I know what its like to be looked over because of hair color. | |

I'm sure there are some angry redheads out there but there's also angry blonds, brunettes, raven haired women etc etc.
I'll take a redhead over any other hair color anytime,

What are you talking about? You make no sense at all.. Think about what you are talking about, It's a hair colour.. I am a natural red head (like you can't tell duh) but what if I had dyed brown hair... duh so all of a sudden I wouldn't be an "unhappy, irrespective (whatever that means, you wrote it) red head" Boy whats up with some of these people? It's a colour get over it. And I will have you know, we are outgoing, fun, exciting, vibrant, educated, honest, etc.. but "we" are people, not just to be classified as red heads.. there is no reason to stay away.
FYI I've been with one red head before and he was really good looking. Might I add he was very educated, honest, loyal etc.... Hello just like someone with brown hair.. There are people with all different hair colours that are good and bad.. get over it. Maybe you should try a red head, before you rule it out.. and I'm not saying just one.. you have to have had the experience more than just once to make statements like you have been .
