Posted: 3/17/2006 5:52:21 PM | I don't think you could be more wrong. I know a lot of young women who like older guys, myself included. I believe it has to do with the maturity factor; although, immaturity does come in all ages....you're more likely to find maturity with an older guy rather than a younger one.
*Nothing can kill a mood more than the question "So...do you, like, wanna play my Sega while I go cook some instant mac 'n' cheese?"

They are out to repeat their cycle, and if you don't make like you're abandoning them at every moment, they will lose interest right around the time you fall in love with them and decide you can't live without them.
We've probably eliminated 50% of the younger women who like older men with the above scenario.
Now, for the rest of the 50%...
25%.....Clone Mel Gibson, and take all the money and fame away from the clone. Give him a job as a manager at Burger King and let him drive a used Honda Civic, oh, say '96, with 100,000 miles on it. My guess is that Original Mel does just fine with these 25% and the Clone gets exactly *zero* interest
So, 3 out of 4 women who "Like older men" are probably into it for all the wrong reasons.
That leaves 1 out of 4, not terrible odds, but that's not even considering the MAN who feels the need for a younger woman and his motivations...so the likelyhood of a non-effed up match on one end or another isn't very good.

Posted: 3/21/2006 4:25:13 PM | I have personally dated, a bit younger then myself, my own age and also older (by about ten years). And as I look back, The more meaningful relationships I have had were with the older gentlemen. I believe (not saying this about everyone so please don't take offence)
that the maturity levels are more equal when I date older. And I find the sex has been alot better as well. Older men seem to know more about values and life, what's important and what is not... | |

Posted: 3/21/2006 5:32:59 PM | IMHO the "age" card is overplayed. I am 50 but relate best to people 6 to 12 years younger than I am. That does not mean I have any problem with ladies my own age . . but . . . many ladies in their 40's, (those who think young), tend to believe they need a younger man to relate to. THEY often do not look at men their own age, perhaps because they do not think that a man their age might think and act as young as they do?
I believe I am qualified to make this statement as I have had good relationships with ladies 20 years younger than I, 20 years older than I, and everywhere in between
So, ladies, if you think and act like a youthful person, drop me a line . . I don't even need to know your actual age. (Under legal drinking age need not apply LOL)

If you look like a middle aged pocket protector nerd and show no social skills...a lot of the 'younger' girls are gonna pass you by. If you take care of yourself and are LIVING life...you have a higher attraction factor for ALL women. My view...as a younger/older woman...lol... | |

Anyone can have charisma, it's all in the person and who they are. Youthful attitude is more important than youthfull looks. again it's all cool, just make sure you're not narrow minded. | |

I may not have a six pack anymore, but as I think back, I did not have one at 20 or 30 either........just a flat stomach for all the years. I can not control all the parts of aging as life continues, but I will try to control all the ones that I can, and do the best I can no matter my age......
