I just tried out the forums the other day, and put in a new thread and it says PINNED POST and it doesn't look like u can get any further with it.......What is the deal?

They are usually locked.

If YOU started a rthread and it was pinned or locked there must have been a reason.... check out the rules...

Most likely was that it was redundant and there are others the same topic or very similar.

Looks like u posted on introductions which was ALREADY a pinned post.
Neither post is even an introduction and likely wont last. Hope u read this so you dont come back asking- why were my posts deleted?

I am guessing, but based on what you have written so far, If you tried a thread about Oklahoma, the forum is just trying to tell ya that there is a separate forum for each of the 50 States. Try to search for answers in the OK forum and if there are not any "moving there" discussions, then start a new thread.

You won't like OK compared to NC because OK has only about three trees total in the whole state and it is absolutely flat. You probably would like Oregon better and I know you will like POF.

A pinned post means that it is pinned to the top of the forum.
It doesn't move further down if noone posts to it.
You put in a "post"...not a "thread".
