is there a rulebook where I can learn this stuff?
I have a friend that seems quite conversant with this stuff. Gonna use her for all she's worth!
Anyways. I'm BAAAACK!!!!
The one I was hoping for was a mess. NOT worth it, it seems. So. Back, and looking - and hopefully won't make the same mistakes twice.
Mistakes:
INTERESTED, and trying too hard in showing it. 
Grr... Still trying to figure out that line between showing interest, and going waaay too far.

Don't hide your interest, your feelings, your thoughts, and enthusiasm. A woman who is truly into you will definitely appreciate all of that in you! I cannot stand a man who is closed and non-emotional. I would take a man anyday that is open with his feelings, women like to hear this, at least I do. My last relationship ended because he could not, and it only seemed after we broke up that he began to open up and relax with me which is kind of sad.
Men believe they need to have some kind of macho image and I believe that is how a lot of them lose out. Remember women work on emotions.........you need to tap into that.

Men want women, women want men. dating is where you spend some time together, see how it is being together. You will get along, or not so much. Don't try to get laid, don't try to pretend anything. Just be your own self and find out whether or not you two happen to be suited for each other. | |

That's why I have female friends. THEY help me pick out my clothes, so I don't look like a clashing horror, and help with the dating advice, as well.
