| 1. | The real search function is located on the main Forum List Page, or on any of the sub-forum pages, in the top right corner and looks like this:

| 2. | Preferably, (in the empty box) enter one or two key search words that would most likely appear in the thread subject line. |
| 3. | Select "Thread Title" in the drop down box beside it (defaulted already). |
| 4. | If you want to search only a specific forum - click on the down pointing arrow and select the appropriate forum you wish. (See points 6,7,8). Selecting "Username" will present last 50 threads participated in by the user name you enter. |
| 5. | Click on the "SEARCH" button.
- Please note that the key search words you enter, will be searched for exactly as it is entered, mis-spellings won't be found.
- If you enter a partial text string like "repl", the search function will return any threads that have "repl", within any word in the Subject line,
Example. Words that may be returned, reply" , "replies" , "replicate" or any other words that contain the string "repl", within it.
- This can be useful for commonly mis-spelled words where the first portion of the word should be spelled correctly, or for words that are spelled using a different tense, eg. replied, reply, replies.

| 6. | Not entering a key search word in the space provided and simply, leaving the search type to "Thread Title" and clicking on search, will retrieve a list of the just recently posted TO existing threads. |
| 7. | Not entering a key search word in the space provided and selecting "Newer Threads" and clicking on search, will retrieve a list of the just recently posted NEW threads. |
| 8. | Entering a user's name as a key search word, and selecting Username as the search type will retrieve a list of that user's last posted to threads, the same as clicking on their name link above their picture in the forums. |
