Are you talking about any particular album or just a bit of roger in general.

pro's and con's of hitchhiking is a great ablum of his.

Pink Floyd still rox, cant believe the timeless power of their music.

The rock n roll station hear has been talking about him all day cause he's coming to do the whole "Darkside" album in concert......I had heard they refused to have a Pink Floyd reunion so I guess he is doing it with another band.

I think Roger Waters was better with Pink Flloyd; of his solo albums Radio K.A.O.S. is the best although there are some cool songs on Amused to Death

But for me Comfortably Numb will always be one of my favourite songs of all time

Yes a friend of mine went and absolutely raved about it, actually he more than raved he made me seriously envious, and Im kicking myself (really hard) that I didnt make the time to go !! Next time ......

Worth mentioning that since this thread was started sadly one of Pink Floyds founding members, the eccentric Syd Barrett had passed away!

Made me think of Roger Hodgson, the real sound behind Supertramp.
He did a one man concert I saw on telly awhile back featuring " "Give a Little Bit," "The Logical Song," "Dreamer" "Take the Long Way Home, and more that he'd written.
Basically it was just him and the guitar, what a terrific sound! He did all the songs justice.

Hey Gypsy 33,

I could not agree with you more. I had a ticket that cost over $200 at the Hollywood Bowl and know that he is worth 10 time that! Not saying I *have* that much...

your advice for folks to not miss Roger is RIGHT ON.

I cherish the autographs I now have, got to see him (in limo) he stopped to sign an autograph for us...check out his smile, I posted a photo on my profile.

I LOVE ROGER & HIS MESSAGE!!

Now don't you feel better about yourself? (that you are not alone in digging the crap outta Roger and his band)
: )

Shine On!

I had the awesome pleasure of seeing Roger Waters in Melbourne last February 2007,..brilliant, sheer brilliance and I saw him before when he visited back in 2004 I think..

Last year he played various selections from all their albums and then did the whole of "Dark Side of the Moon" as the second act of the show..you could have heard a pin drop and trust me, live he stands up well...not crap studio engineering required...the sound and the music was replicated perfectly.

It was terrific..now if only they would reform and do "The Wall" live...!!! Id pay big bucks to see and hear that....front row please

Well his madness seemed to influence Roger Waters song writing long after he left the band so I reckon he'd be up there with them

Dark Globe is possibly the saddest song ever written

'Oh where are you now
**** willow that smiled on this leaf?
When I was alone you promised the stone from your heart'
