I think you will try to cheat again because even though you say you love your gf, if you truly did you would not have even thought about trying to find someone new. I too feel sorry for your gf. You not only hurt her, you would have hurt anyone seriously interested in meeting someone for a true relationship. Shame on you!!! | |

Posted: 4/1/2006 7:37:27 PM | My guess is the guy didn't have anyone to begin with and is just really disappointed about his experience on POF ... some folks just expect an awful lot and don't realize that everything takes time.
There are a lot people who have been on POF a long time. Perhaps they have already decided this is not where they are going to find what they're looking for, but they remain, because over the time they have been here, they have made lots of good friends.
Some have met their matches here and still remain because of everything POF has to offer. The forums are awsome ... there's just no question about that. I haven't done a "search" in the profiles for so long ... I can't remember. I do go and look at those I interact with in the forums, but otherwise ................ pffffffttttt.
I'm having too much fun in the forums to be bothered looking through the profiles. | |

Posted: 4/1/2006 9:03:02 PM | Hey people, lets cut a little slack, and give the guy at least some credit, for at least admitting that what he did was wrong. However, lets give him some credit, for doing something right, by giving this whole thing up, here on this site and wanting to make a go of it, with his girlfriend.
Remember, we are ALL human, and we ALL do make mistakes.
I am sure that some of us, have done a similiar thing at one point in our lives.
Instead of critisizing him, and putting him down for his wrong doings, lets give the guy and his girlfriend some sort of CONGRATS, and warm wishes of ALL the best of success.
So, lets not just hang him from the hanging tree, for being a man, and fessing up.

That's what I figure too.
Ok, ok, you people are entitled to your opinions, no question about that. And it maybe that it could be bogus, however, can we prove it, beyound a reasonable doubt.
If we can not, then, why convict the guy, before he is proven guilty.
Yes, I am aware, that their are people out there who make up these things, yet, there are some people out there, that ARE, legit.
So, lets not be so quick to judge, ok.
I have follen into that, of being quick to judge, and got burnt for it, so, I am trying to not be so judgemental, until all the possible facts are in.
However, thank you for your responses.
