There has to be some "older men" out there who are looking for some companionship, friendship, and maybe even a long term relationship. I need to know where to go "fishing" to find them. | where are all the OLDER MEN..?? Posted: 5/6/2006 7:57:45 AM | I think as an older male, Some of us,If we have been in relationships or a marrige that hasn't worked in the past, We seem to be more stand offish, We really are just affraid at this age of having to deal with all those emotions of the past once again, Ofcourse we are looking, but not too hard, Being males, we seem to give everything to a relationship that we have, And then are distroyed if it don't workout, So we go into hibernation, It's been 12 years for me. I'm a cancerian, this is only my thoughts alone, lol

| where are all the OLDER MEN..?? Posted: 6/15/2006 3:33:26 PM | Could be in a lot of cases, older men are searching for a woman who can make them feel like they've felt in the past, but seems a lot of the women are looking for someone to help pack the baggage they're carrying with them. That has a tendency to make a feller a little gun shy. Just my opinion. | |

| where are all the OLDER MEN..?? Posted: 7/19/2006 2:26:53 AM | Could be in a lot of cases, older men are searching for a woman who can make them feel like they've felt in the past, =============================== I don't think so Freeman
Felt in the past!
How did you feel running the gauntlent of hostile bouncers, stoned on steroids to get into the bar in the first place? How did you feel with the "piss arrff ya creep" every time you asked a girl for a dance.
no Freemen. Nobody deserves to be treated like that or to feel like that. And thats the real reason that older men arent looking.

| where are all the OLDER MEN..?? Posted: 8/1/2006 7:17:23 AM | Hello Sparticuss, Hope you're having t'rifik day. Seriously. Oh, I tried the bars, with the ladies that called you honey or sweetie cause they weren't interested enough to ask your name. Danced till my feet were numb, felt like I was the catch of the night for some lucky woman. heh heh. Yep, I remember all that stuff. Funny thing though cause the type woman I ran across in those places weren't what I wanted or needed. Took several years to figure that out, and the feeling I was talking about re-living never made their appearance in those situations. There are women out there that make a man feel special, like he belongs and is accepted for more than dancing feet and how many drinks he can buy or stroke their egos (yep women got em too) for a while. The thing I'm talking about last more than a few hours on Saturday night, and is the reason IMO men and women get together. A relationship, a good relationship, is not an easy thing to pick up in a bar and can't happen in a few hours. Once a person has one of those kind of relationships, they know how good it can be and that's the "feelings" I meant. I agree with your post completely, but it's comparing apples and oranges. They're both round, but completely different on the inside. Thanks for the comments. | |

| where are all the OLDER MEN..?? Posted: 8/6/2006 4:44:08 AM | I was told by older people that they have been through and experienced bad/good relationships and that they don't want to fall into that situation again.
We are not perfect and we tend to forget things from time through times. It is not that men are all just playing around. They go with whatever the situation that they may think fit. Plus sometimes women tend to over react silly things and that can scare you men off.
Younger guys may never have been wise enough and maybe mature enough to see what the future holds. I am not old and am not young either. I usually go with common sense and gut feelings.
