If you want big city hustle/bustle then New York, Cincinniti, Los Angeles, Phillie would be good for you. If you like a lot of open country, then Montana, Idaho, Oregon and Washington state would be good. If you want year long nice weather (though Californians are arguing it right now..) then California may be good.

You have the Harbour, hightest rated schools in the US- Harvard, MIT, Boston U (there are over 100 College's and Universities with the Boston area), you can be in Vermont to ski in no time, NY city is 4 hours, The Cape to vacation with the Kennedy's you have an awesome baseball team. What more can you ask for? Oh ya, Quincy Market and a ton of history behind the city. Check it ou

Ive already checked Chicago out because of a friend of mine went there for a year so i have that city high on my list. So is Boston. I heard thats a great city with lots of places around wich are pretty nice. Dont know so much about baseball since im a football, sorry soccerfan, but if they have a good team i might just go watch them and become a baseballfan my self
Isnt New York very expensive to live in? And everybody moves there so it wouldnt be that "special".
Maybe a small town outside Boston will be a good choice. Want to get to know the "real" american people a bit better than just hearing what everbody else means...

There are a lot of smaller, unique, suburban communities around there, too. I don't know how dificult it would be to find a job there, though.

I've seen about 45 of the 50 states, and the best overall scenery, climate and things-to-do place is the Golden State. The only scenery that can compare with it is in Alaska and Hawaii, so if you can't make it to all the places you want, go to California.
They even have a European governator for you, just for your visit.

is it by the sea or inlands? It is both. It is on the southern shore of Lake Erie--one of the 5 great lakes.

| Best city in the US? Posted: 4/8/2006 4:52:13 PM | | Hawaii is the best place to work and play. Only down fall gotta have a good job things get pretty costly out this way. | |

| Best city in the US? Posted: 5/1/2006 4:35:23 PM | Kansas City's neat I think ... but, you may consider moving to a suburb of a big city so you still have the advantage of all the neat things to do and see, but have cheaper living. ...

Yep, you're thinking of The Drew Carey Show. I'm not sure if it's on the air anymore, but I've seen it in the past. It was funny.

| Best city in the US? Posted: 8/5/2006 4:08:07 PM | | Chicago. I call it my home, away from home, away from home. My first home away from home would be anywhere in Newfoundland, but then Chicago would be after that. | |
|
| Best city in the US? Posted: 8/5/2006 5:30:20 PM | Yup, I would have to say Chicago as well! Even if you don't like living down town, the suburbs are great and very close to all the downtown area has to offer. | |
