Posted: 4/10/2006 1:11:22 PM | Never give up! Ever! Love can be many things, come in many forms and serve many purposes. To stop loving is to stop living. To stop living is having no passion for things, no love, no excitement...
To stop living is to just exist. What a sad way to be.....
As we age we just might have to look a little harder or look differently at things...
just remember: doing the same thing over and over wont get you different results...
pick up a good book, change your attitude, try something new, meet as many people as you can....just always keep moving, learning and investigating...you will be sure to find what you are looking for and many things you are not!
When you get kicked in the teeth, get back up for more until you have dentures!!!!! I'll be damned if I will ever give up on love...whether I am 95 or 45 or 32! ;)
Love the journey not the destination.....that helps!!!!!!!

For now: Anytime is good. Re-arrange your priorities and off you go. Quite liberating actually. Did it a year ago, and it's allowed me other pursuits... like going to school.
For good: Never. That's like giving up on breathing... not gonna happen.

But you're not going to win if you don't risk it. You don't have to keep putting yourself out there, searching for the right person, but you should at least stay open to the possibility. | |

I know one thing for sure. When you get old and end up in a nursing home.You'll love the young little health care workers ;) | |

People say that love happens when you least expect it, when you are not thinking about it, when you are not looking for love and when you are happy with yourself. Take time to enjoy being yourself by yourself. It is very attractive not only the opposite sex but in a way to make new friends and be closer with those who are already your friends and your family. It's like the right person for you has a desperation detector and stays away when you are looking for them and come out when you are okay with being single. Funny how it happens, eh? | |
