its not the line but the intent behind it.
like poker most females can read a situation.
if you honestly think shes beautiful and not just wanna get down her pants then the genuine way you come across with a so called pick up line .
wich can break the ice maybe make the person laugh and what not.
come across fake trying to get down her pants ..then shes gonna notice the none genuine way you throw the line wich will have no feeling and most times unless shes using you for what she wants ..then your probaly out of luck.
(From a guys side anyways..men are much more easier targets lol) | |

The awards for uninspired pick-up lines are as follows:
You have really pretty eyes

Around 7 out of 10 messages I get have those lines in them. Personally, I prefer comments on my profile to show a person is putting my mind over my looks. I'm not naive, I know looks are important but at this stage of the game I'm looking for something far someone who is a bit deeper than that.
So if that's all they can think to say, they usually don't get a response. | |

Hmm, allowing folks ten years younger but only two older doesn't quite seem right.
Back on topic, I'll tell you a line that doesn't work, and that's when guys stagger up and tell me to smile. Half the time I'm tempted to tell them I suffer from facial paralysis and can't smile. It's as if they think I have to be grinning like the Joker to be enjoying myself.
As for an 'opening line' that works? Well, "hello" has always been a good starting point for me. | |
