Posted: 4/20/2006 9:57:17 AM | I believe the Queen's birthday is officially celebrated in June because by June the weather is better in the northern hemisphere for an outdoor event like a parade, a tea or whatever the Queen deigns to do on that day.

Posted: 4/20/2006 12:58:11 PM | | We celebrate the Queen's bd in June because it coincides with ANZAC Day (sometimes a long weekend) which meant too many public holidays in one bunch. How stupid is that? What with Easter, Labour Day and Anzac Day, we just couldn't fit Liz into our schedule of events. And that's the truth! What does she mean to me? Yeah, Jack as well. She's just a puppet for Parliament and her nasty nasty husband who really does the string pulling. He truly is a nasty piece of work. Try researching some of the stuff that he's been responsible for. I won't go on. | |

Posted: 4/20/2006 4:01:08 PM | just to be an English boffin- we actually celebrate the queens birthday in June because that was the month in which she was crowned queen of england! so it is her actual birthday today but in June she gets a 'special' birthday to remember when she was given power
infact she is the only person i know who has two birthdays- in my book that makes her 160! and god i wish she would hurry up and pop off! at least william will be a bit of eye candy
saying that when she dies they will cancel every news and radio broadcast for a period of mourning!!! oh its a double edged sword.. to want her to live in sake of my daily fix of neighbours!! hehe | |
