| Canada's Worst driver Posted: 4/20/2006 1:43:10 PM | | My father is the absolute worst driver in the world. He's a very nervous driver and he psychically transmits his fear to all of his passengers. I usually do all the driving if I'm in a vehicle with him, 17 hours to Edmonton once. On the other hand I'm the world's worst passenger........ If you want to be in abject fear for your life try driving around Steinbach. No turn signals, shoulder checks or mirror checks, 10 under the speed limit, and tunes cranked way too loud and I'm talking about the seniors. It's a scary place I tellya. | |

| Canada's Worst driver Posted: 4/20/2006 1:54:55 PM | | Well I hope this dosen't come out wrong, but we have different driving laws here in florida, and I have been in more near wrecks on roads down here because of tourists, I think they all should have their cars flagged as such, so I know to speed up, slow down, or simply find another route. And yes I know a few I would like to vote as the worst canadian drivers in florida. Like the one who ran me into oncoming traffic on a 4 lane road in kissimmee yesterday. Don't people up there see motorcycles? Well this one has to explain my extra helmet in their back seat and the window it took out to the rental company. And I'm still out a 200$ helmet. Jeeeeeeeeez | |

| Canada's Worst driver Posted: 4/20/2006 4:54:51 PM | Ok.... you know the story of "THE OLD MAN IN A HAT SYNDROME"... my grandfather is 90, and my grandmother is 88 both are driving experts..........
Now it just so happens every now and then... Grandma seems to see stops signs before the first one comes up... so... it is like herky-jerky... all the way down to the end of the street to the store..... I am now in chiro treatment for the drives with them....not going to get better... sometimes WHIP-LASH IS FOREVER...ROFL>>....
I thank god everyday that the grocery store is only 4 blocks away.......from their house.

| Canada's Worst driver Posted: 4/20/2006 4:56:32 PM | No offense...but this city (per capita), has the worst drivers of any major city in Canada. Not only do they not understand what a "Yield" sign signifies, but...this province and city spent money on merge lanes that people don't know how to use.
I have passed more Winnipeg drivers on the right in 4 years here, than in 30 years in the GTA.
To all of you who drive like I have discussed...

| Canada's Worst driver Posted: 4/20/2006 5:01:36 PM | I think this joke fits in here...
Elderly friends, Mabel and Ethal, are driving along. Mabel is at the wheel. She drives through one red light and Ethal just sucks in her breathe. Then Mabel drives through another red light. This time Ethal grabs the arm rest and hangs on tight. The third time Mabel drives through a red light, Ethal reaches over and pats her arm and says, "Mabel, dear, did you know you drove through 3 red lights?" Mabel says, "Oh, am I driving???"

| Canada's Worst driver Posted: 4/20/2006 5:21:11 PM | Sherrif i'm not sure where you got the survey from but I think it is somewhat askew.
Take it from someone who has driven in every major city across Canada and many major cities in Europe.....Montreal is far worse and I have seen some horrific drivers on the 401 and 400.
Ever try driving in France, Italy or Spain...that is taking your life in your hands each time you get behind the wheel.
Granted there are many who could stand to go through another driving test ..i'm sure many would fail but there are bad drivers everywhere.
