For me...the first thing I look at is their age...then what they have to say about themselves. I met my ex online. It was a beautiful, loving relationship. It can happen. Have faith and keep looking.
And before anyone asks...Yes my relationship was beautiful. It lasted 5 years. Even the happiest of couples can't work out if they lose communication. It wasn't an ugly break up and we ARE friends.

When you look at someone to do get a vibe, if you want to admit it or not. You attracted to certain "looks", thats scientifically proven. Just some people are only attracted to the so called "model looks". Its all part of the great chemistry of attraction. Just try and meet as many different people as you can to improve your odds of finding someone compatiable.

Of course you need to have some kind of attraction to the person you plan on getting to know, it is not fair to say ANY of us do not care about looks.
I say keep trying and if you are not getting the response you want, check your profile. Maybe you could get into more detail on who you are or what you are looking for. I changed my profile about a month ago and it really helped. Good luck girl! :) | |

Posted: 2/14/2005 5:52:19 PM | | attraction is a big thing, though alot of ppl dont post their real pics nowadays but when i get a message i do go and look at their profile, i will talk to anyone cause looks arent that important b/c once you talk to someone you may not find them very good looking but for other reasons be attracted to them, only time i dont or am put off is if they are from another country n dont know english very well most tend to be very pushy or if they are just looking for a cam whore cause that aint me, but i will send someone a message back and even have a few ppl on my msn who i am not really attracted to physically but are great people which makes them stand out more | |

I don't know about all of that. Sure physical attraction is important to most people, but people have diffrent tastes. Some like skinny, some like big, some like tall or short...Diffrent people are into diffrent things. If i had an arm growing out of my forehead i bet i can find a big group of people(especially on the net) that happens to find that sexy. You just got to look for the right kind of people in the right places. | |

"Are you a player" or "how many girls do you say that to" or "you could have any woman here why are you talking to me" and I get sick and tired of hearing that!!!! If a woman would only give me a chance I would prove to her that I am really an honest down to earth person that would treat her with respect. Looks arent everything to me....
