| Thin Overweight Average
Posted: 2/13/2005 1:53:54 PM | I was wondering what kind of girls do guys like. Do they mind if girls are thin or overwieght or just inbetween. I am 5'2 and 140 pound. I think i am kind average. I am working out for lent and hope to get down to 130. Do guys really mind the size of the women or the height (i hate being short). | |

Posted: 2/13/2005 4:36:45 PM | About height, I'm 5'1"...in the morning...and every man I have dated has found me absolutely adorable! :) One was constantly holding my hand, wiggling my fingers, chuckling, and muttering things like "so tiny...and they still work!"
There are definitely men out there who like us petite, super-concentrated bundles of energy! Be happy with the body you've got and they will appear!
Being short is a HUGE plus!
- We don't bang our heads on anything.
- It's really easy for a romantic man to carry us over any threshhold.
- We can reach the bottom shelf that those tall people find so difficult!
- Airplane seats have plenty of leg room.

I am a size 15....curves, not too bad, busty, but not over busty....

Posted: 2/13/2005 10:56:21 PM | Standards on body size vary big time. I live in the midwest where everyone is obese, so my perception is greatly skewed. Personally, i like a thick girl. Thick is a term that is very difficult to describe, you just know it when you see it, but i'll try. It means she has curves, but can jog with no problem. she has no flabs, double chins, or lose skin, but doesnt look skinny and frail either.
I've always thought that people subconciously seek opposites in their mates as far as body size. Im a little on the skinny side, so my genetics combined with the genetics of a slightly thick woman would yield the perfect sized offspring  | |

But really anything but overweight. A few extra pounds is just fine. I spend most of my time looking at the face, not the waist. So as long as she is physically active and her weight doesnt get in the way of being active, then weight is basically irrelevant. I'm 5'8" 155lbs and I generally look for someone equal or less than myself for height/weight.
I've never dated anyone taller than me. I don't know how tall I would go. As long as she didnt have a problem with the height difference, I probably wouldnt either. | |
