Nobody's perfect, you are correct.
But you have to remember.....I believe the ratio here is 5 men to 1 woman....so the women can pick and choose what they want...
If they want to go contact to contact, finding somebody better and better everytime, until they eventually hit somebody who is 100% compatable with them...........They can.

exactly! why settle? there's lots of great guys out there that are smart, sweet, HOT and... perfect! why a girl would just pick some guy cuz she doesn't feel like looking anymore is crazy.

Posted: 4/26/2006 7:53:28 AM | I used to know this girl. She was probably the pickiest woman I have ever seen when it came to choosing men. She was always saying that her man had to be tall, handsome, rich, kind, sweet, loving, special, detail-oriented etc...etc.... She would not date anyone who was not all these things and more. She sounded so unrealistic and shallow....
We used tease her, and said that she would die by herself because there was no such "perfect" man in the world.
A while later, we found her with a short, ugly, balding and fat guy whom she had to support because he did not work. The pickiest woman in the world ended up with the worst possible kind of guy, not to mention that he treated her like crap....
In general, when we look for Mr/Ms perfect, we end up with the last thing in the world we want to be with....
Just sharing some personal experience. That is all.... | |

No one likes a whiner, well maybe another whiner but those relationships don't last long.
I read you profile and saw that you have lost over 250lbs and you are planning on losing more. Good for you. That took a lot of hard work and commitment on your part.
If I were you I would put a positive spin on this aspect of your life. Tell women that you are not perfect and you never will be but you are working on improving yourself. You'll be surprised at the results you will get.

Unless you are from India, and your mother chooses who you marry. Where you are from, baggage, and etc has nothing to do with getting responses or hooking up. I except people for who they are and I have friends from all walks of life, but the majority of the people that try to hook up with you are not what you are looking for because they are trying to go beyond what they look like and represent. I held this back for a long time but it is time for the truth. If everyone sticks to what they represent, they will get more responses. Just be yourself and do not exceed expectations.
