| WOMEN: What is the ideal height difference between a man and a woman? Posted: 4/26/2006 9:27:36 PM | | A PBS show called, "Secret of the Sexes" researching women's attraction to men found a direct correlation to a man's height and the number of women attracted to that man. There are a number of POF threads where many woman say they prefer taller men. Every person is unique, and has different preferences. I am wondering, what is the ideal height difference between a man and woman? | |

| WOMEN: What is the ideal height difference between a man and a woman? Posted: 4/26/2006 9:55:55 PM | I've always dated guys that are at least 6 feet tall.... up to 6'10". Then last year I ended up with a guy that was only 5'9" (I'm 5'5"). At first I thought it was really wierd, but then I realized that I didn't get cramps in my calves and could actually balance while kissing him!!!! WOO HOO!!!

| WOMEN: What is the ideal height difference between a man and a woman? Posted: 4/26/2006 9:57:06 PM | I'm 5'8' and most of the guy's I've been interested in have been my height or maybe a few inches taller at best.
I'd prefer a guy my height or taller although I wouldn't call it a necessity. There are plenty of nice guys 5'7' and shorter and I think eliminating them from the potential dating pool based on something physical like that is just silly.

The most attractive women to me are about six foot and in proportion (read not overweight!) I think this has a lot to do with my lifestyle. I like going in the wilderness and hiking in mountainous areas. Small woman have a difficult time keeping up. And there is something indefinably rewarding about cuddling with a tall strong woman - sense of balance that is missing with someone petite.

Posted: 4/26/2006 10:34:43 PM | Personally, I really don't believe there is an Ideal height differance between a man and a woman. I think it's each to their own prefrence. I think that when you meet a man who has all the right stuff, ...It's not his height you notice. Just my two cents worth.

Posted: 4/27/2006 5:30:06 AM | | Personally if a guy interests me enough I don't mind if he is a few inches shorter than me but I do prefer a guy who is at least my height (5'9") or taller. I already have a LOT of friends who are MUCH shorter than me and bending down to hug them or always towering over them makes me feel kinda clumsy and giant-ish. so if my guy is taller than me it is a big plus.

I am 5' 7" flatfooted, but 5' 10" in my heels, and I am developing a taste for women around 5' 9" to 5' 10". They taste just fine to me.

| WOMEN: What is the ideal height difference between a man and a woman? Posted: 4/27/2006 2:17:56 PM | | Actually, I'd rather not date a tall, tall man. At only 5'2", taller than roughly 6'0"ish makes me feel uncomfy. Perfect height for me is around 5'7"-5'8"ish. :) However, I'm aware you can't help how tall (or short) you are, but it's just a preference thing. I mean, heck, for all I know, my "Mr. Right" could be 6'6", right? :P | |

There's actually a word for people who are attracted to people who are a different height than them. Can't find the word though.
