| Getting Settled in Milford
Posted: 12/30/2006 2:35:04 AM | I've been in town less than a year -- finally getting settled into a house I've rented.
So I've finally upped periscope and I'm scanning the horizon. I've made face-to-face contact with one local lady so far. It's a start, but only a start.
A few weeks ago I set a goal of finding a date for New Year's Eve. Looks like I've come up dry, unless I get lucky at the last minute.
Worse comes to worst, I'll just pub crawl down on Rehoboth Avenue on da night. Ya never know.
I consider this a long term project. It's going to take a while to find out who's out there and if there's anything we can work up.
Ladies, if you've taken care of yourself (not a fatty) and you aren't a bitter b*tch... Scratch that -- if you're a self-reliant, happy person -- you'll just charm me all to hell. Looks are wonderful -- and I admit a weakness for feminine loveliness -- but I've been around long enough to know that attitude is a whole lot more important. | |
