Posted: 2/14/2005 2:59:05 PM | Alright - this is pretty neat - I just joined this site the other day, so really am a first timer here. I am looking to get out and meet new people. I work full time, 26yrs old next month. I have a degree in acting but that's not my job (go figure) however am pursuing the degree now that I am back in buffalo. Check out my profile and if you'd like to get to know each other that's cool with me - looking for friends right now, and maybe more?!?! Who knows, we'll leave that up to chemistry, sh*t...i failed that in H.S. oh well!

Posted: 2/14/2005 4:33:35 PM | My name is Don, and I am from Salem NY. It is a small town about an hour north of Albany, bordering on Vermont. I am in Somerset, Great Britain at the moment (until March 14) helping a friend establish a business.
Well, I am 18, and am currently just beginning to pursue my Masters in Science in Information Services, with a Library and Information Services focus **takes a drink**.
Well, currently, I work at the local library part time. I'm hoping to become director of it soon (am facing 2 girls with seniority but limited experience). I will then get my MSIS and hopefully become director of a bigger library.
Other than that, I own a computer business. It's not that big, but when I return from the UK I am bringing back with me a new enthusiasm to get stuff done.
I would tell you more about me (and bore you more), but quite honestly, the trip in the UK is changing my life, so I am now pursuing a whole new direction in life.
I hope that I can share an intelligent conversation with somebody on here soon. That's what I signed up for.
BTW: How is POF organized? It could very easily be turned into a 501c3. | |

Thanks again...this seems like a very nice service to those of us who do not play the field in the conventional settings...I never go to bars...don't smoke or drink, and in this great Big Apple, it seem like it is not so easy to meet available women...

My name is Young, I just returned to NY from eight years abroad. I'm looking to meet some intelligent (or at least, sensible) women who are mature and openminded. Is that possible in NYC anymore? I mean, to meet someone who isn't too jaded by money and status, someone with a soul and has got some "beef".
I live in Flushing, Queens (where all the asians live) and just turned 30 last month. My profession (at least it is now) is in real estate. Love traveling and exploring things/places. Also like to go dancing and having an occasional drink with lots of people around. Wish me luck, though I guess we're all well on our way. | |

Does it make you a bad person? That has two answers.
If you learned from your mistake and understand it impacts others ...
then ...
no, you're not a bad person.
... but ...
If you didn't learn from your mistakes and continue affecting your partners ...
then ...
yes, you are a bad person.
We all have freewill ... the ability to say NO ... as well as YES.
