The Quarter at the Trop has 9 new restaurants , an I MAX, cOMEDY STOP, PLANET ROSE , AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON. tHE CLUBS SEEM TO ATTRACK A YOUNGER CROWD BUT STILL FUN TO HANGand watch the characters and the Slasa dancing. The Irsih Pub is very cool to. It was flown in from Ireland. Oh well hi and good by. Write me if you like? Frank

| well isn't nj such a boring place?? Posted: 6/2/2005 10:19:50 PM | To all those individuals, who think nj is boring,... IT'S TIME TO GET OFF DUFFS, GETUP, AND GETOUT OF THAT CAVE YOU MUST BE LIVING IN, OPEN YOUR EYES, GET IN YOUR CARS AND TAKE A DRIVE AROUND!!! Go do something if you can think it, you can do it in mass quantities in this state. Hell, for that matter, do something worth while, go to a VA hospital and say thank you. To the service members that gave, so you could sit on your brain and whine "i don't have anything to do", YOU THINK ABOUT IT. LIFE...LIVE IT, BE IN IT. | |

If you are going to the Tropicana, and you are looking for a "first date" kinda place....or you don't like the loud clubs....go to The Top of the Trop in the North Tower!! Great atmosphere, quite romantic, good food and a nice view....at night anyway....LOL

| well isn't nj such a boring place?? Posted: 2/12/2006 5:49:45 PM | | NJ is boring if your over 40 with no kids- The cost of living and the cold winters isnt worth the high price to live here anymore. Im moving to NC or FL- make less money but cheaper to live. | |

| well isn't nj such a boring place?? Posted: 2/13/2006 7:04:22 PM | gbear1964 - I hear you loud and clear, I feel like moving maybe to Arizona as I'm still thinking about it.
New "Jerky" isn't worth the hassle of paying for housing, auto insurance, traffic, fighting to get a job interview, and the cold weather.

| well isn't nj such a boring place?? Posted: 2/22/2006 10:18:05 AM | | It really gets old listening to people trash New Jersey. I have lived here all my life and I say... New Jersey ROCKS! New Jersey has so much to offer, our Beaches are clean...Night clubs (for all ages) ..Parks.. Shopping.. and depending where you live in this great State... a hour from NYC and Philly. There is CapeMay... Great Adventure...Seaside Heights.. some of the nicest winerys and the list goes on... I say.. get off your butt and explore alittle.. GO NEW JERSEY!!!! ( alittle passion...goes a long way...lol) | |

| well isn't nj such a boring place?? Posted: 3/4/2006 9:08:33 AM | | new jersey is as boring as you make it. anyone who finds new jersey to be boring is undoubtedly a boring person. new jersey has such great diversity, you name it new jersey has it (with the exception of a desert landscape, go to california or arizona for that). | |

| well isn't nj such a boring place?? Posted: 3/20/2006 6:18:10 PM | I got to say that Jersey sucks. I've lived in Jersey most of my life but also lived down south in recent years and I hate Jersey. The beaches are garbage scows and the people are one step up from New Yorkers who are just one step up from pond scum. The police in Jersey all are power hungry, over anxious, butt heads who were too stupid to get real jobs. This state has got more dot heads then there are dots. I have yet to see a more tight ass state then Jersey. Too Expensive, not enough jobs, too much corruption in politics, too many cars, too little freedoms, too much crime, too much taxes and it continues to get worse.
All I can say is if you stay in Jersey then your a fool. Go south or go west. Go somewhere else that is less restrictive, lower taxes, friendlier people and either is warm most months of the year or where your nearest neighbor is quarter of a mile away.
Well thats all I can say about this worthless state.

| well isn't nj such a boring place?? Posted: 3/25/2006 11:39:17 PM | You forgot the High cost of living such as housing and property taxes and you really cant enjoy the beaches all year round like in Fl. So if you wanna spend a high percentage of your hard earned dollars on housing then stay in NJ the rest of your life. | |
|
| well isn't nj such a boring place?? Posted: 3/25/2006 11:42:29 PM | I agree 100% with you brother. Fl has beautiful beaches ( free) and the property taxes are alot less than NJ and the people are much friendlier than NJ stuck ups with attitudes. | |
|
| well isn't nj such a boring place?? Posted: 3/26/2006 12:07:53 AM | | ^^I'd say that was pretty darn rude!! I know a lot of kind hearted, compassionate people who live here. I also didn't think this was a comparison thread because I could certainly name a lot of places with much more beautiful beaches than Fl. or any of the states!!! How was that for attitude? | |
|
| well isn't nj such a boring place?? Posted: 3/26/2006 5:15:38 AM | I spent 36 years of my life in jersey and I consider myself extremely kind hearted Taxes are high yup, and housing is expensive true, but your pay compensates all that... moving to a cheaper state.... your pay is gonna be cut also, so really no benefits, Jersey basicly has everything, never a dull moment unless you make it that way. Now if you were smart... you would live in another state and travel to jersey for work purposes then you would be ahead... | |
|
| well isn't nj such a boring place?? Posted: 3/26/2006 7:34:35 AM | ^^^Great attitude!!!
and soooo correct about never a dull moment if you want something to do. I listed many things if one goes to that link I posted above... : )
