This is great information. When I read it in the paper and heard Bush talking about changes, it felt like a smoke screen to get the public's attention away from Iraq and the body count that climbs each day. ^^^^^ A very important post to pass along.

"FACT: In 2042, enough new money will be coming in to pay between 73-80 percent of promised benefits. Even with this reduction, new retirees will still receive more money, in inflation-adjusted dollars, than today’s beneficiaries. [WP, 2/5/05]"

Fair is fair shouldn't I only have to pay in 73-80% of my SSW tab. If im only going to get 73-80% out of it.

The US dollar is not backed by land, silver, or gold. It is worth the paper it is printed on and may be printed like photocopies as long as you give the commercial bankers at the private sector Federal Reserve their piece of the action.
