Posted: 2/17/2005 2:20:08 PM | Anyone interested in getting together once or twice a month somewhere?? Like the Electric Cowboy?? Just a place for us single people to get together in a public way and dance, hang out, have fun?? We could get there early, before the place starts hoppin, so that we would have a chance to mingle, talk, whatever?? I don't know about anyone else but I like to meet people in person, outside of "A Date", ya know, get to know them a little w/o the pressure of a date!
Any ideas?? Anyone interested?? | |

Posted: 9/28/2005 5:33:09 AM | this idea, although a good one, seems to have petered out without much effort. Perhaps, a more informal get together would be the ticket, where no one would be required to put out a wad of money for anything except the gas to get them there and a dish of food. In other words, do a pot luck type of thing.
I have a great place for this type of thing, a large grill, a turkey fryer, a semi closed in carport, (in case of rain), 2 bathrooms, 1.6 acres with a lot of driveway access. I am out in the country so noise would not be a problem. There could be music and dancing as the carport has a concrete floor.
