I'm from PG and although I live in Kamloops now I frequently go back on weekends to visit. Would be awesome to have a POF get-to-gether. How about organizing a drinks and appies night at JJ's or CHP? Posted: 11/29/2006 7:18:39 PM | I have a friend in Red Deer that went to some Pof Pub Night thing there last month and like 350 people showed up, that's pretty darn cool, The trouble around here, is no one wants to take the initiative to start something like that up. I'm sure many would attend if something exciting were to happen.
I, myself am too busy with work and setting up the concerts that our Blues society puts on to have the time to plan anything, But I would sure make an effort to attend some sort of gathering. | |

Unfortunatly, living up here in Mackenzie, it is almost impossible for me to help put something together down there.

Posted: 12/14/2006 5:47:34 PM | OK, I've heard a few yes' and a couple of maybe's....so, I'm going to bite the bullet and make a reservation for 6 at Kelly O'bryan's for 8:00 pm on Friday December 29th. I'll be there a little before 8 until about 9:30 or 10-pm. Don't leave me sitting there by myself guys
If the response on here is greater than 6 then I can always add to the reservation. If you know you will be coming....please post that on here or send me a message so I have an estimate of #'s.
If you're not sure if you can make it.....please feel free to "just show up" if you find yourself able to do so at the last minute. No need to rsvp.
*I chose Kelly O'Bryans because I know they have 2 for 1 appies and drink specials (double paralizers is Fridays, I think)...it's also conveniently across the street from the Ranch where I'm meeting friends afterwards. If anyone has a better suggestion...suggest away
Oh...and I'll make the reservation under my own name "Sharleen" - so if you get there and don't know where to go....ask the server :) | |
