actually, i have a confession to make.............i am considering a trip of 1200+ miles one way to meet a guy................of course, he is considering relocating to my home state for me...............we are waiting on the magic, so everybody wish us luck............he's a fellow pof'er, he just lives in one of those snowy states..........................
just as age is a state of mind, distance is also relative..............i was once in a relationship with a guy who could be in the same room and yet, a million miles away............havent we all been there? | |

Travel is harder for some and not so hard for others. That is a big factor in how far someone would travel. People who don't like to fly aren't going far. I can fly for free and take a friend for 50 dollars. So I can go myself from Florida to Califorina for 0 dollars. I have taken a date to Las Vegas just for dinner. long way yes, but it did give us a lot of time to talk. And why Vegas. That is my home town. I have friends that can open doors to places I other wise could not afford. See Ya

Posted: 2/19/2005 3:19:10 AM | I think maybe 5 miles at the most, well at least 10. I would travel farther if alot of communication was done up front via email and telephone. Lots of picture exchanges.
Thats the only way I would go more than 5-10 miles. | |

I made the trip there twice and he came here twice and in between he was playing with other women while making false promises to me. Long distance is very hard to maintain. Better to look in your own backyard if possible. Though I do know a man that lives far from me who i wish lived closer. | |

And yes.....I believe he will travel to wherever he has to for the right lady.

Posted: 2/24/2005 8:42:59 PM | I live in Naples and I'm a single father and I only get a couple of days a month to be able to go anywhere .... Personally I would prob go anywhere between Tampa/Orlando down to Key West .. somewhere that would only take a few hours or less to get there so you aren't too worn down from the traveling to enjoy your company ... make sense to anyone? | |

I don't think I'll be doing any traveling anytime soon for a relationship. I'm much better off trying to find someone here in the hellhole state of florida. If I do travel it will be strictly for fun. I've always wanted to visit my native country, Italy. I was born in america and unfortunately the only language I can speak is english. it bugs me that I don't know my own native language. eh well, I'll learn it someday. | |
