| What do you think about cougars? Posted: 5/21/2006 9:29:39 PM | Coming from England, I had never heard of the cougar phenomenon till I came on this site..
You don't really get them over here in England, but it sounds as if there are a lot of them prowling around in the States and Canada...
Are you a cougar or have you ever been snared by a cougar?

| What do you think about cougars? Posted: 5/21/2006 9:37:29 PM | | Some people have the wrong idea about cougars. Cougars are single women in the 40's looking for younger men to sleep with. Not single women, in general, looking to get laid. A friend of mine was called a cougar not long ago by some guy who came on to her in a bar. She was very flattered, as she feels she is coming into her sexual prime, and since then has been prowling the bars of Vancouver looking for fresh meat. | |

Posted: 5/21/2006 9:54:07 PM | | In fact, there was an article in the Evening Standard newspaper about the rise of cougars in London... it mentioned that quite a few Canadian and American women who live and work in the area are actively hunting for prey in the local bars.. and that the young guys are just not up to scratch and often run before the cougar can get their claws into them

| What do you think about cougars? Posted: 5/21/2006 10:00:02 PM | | People get this vision of a cougar as being a woman with too much makeup, bad hair and wearing clothes they shouldnt be and preying on young men in bars looking for a quick lay. It isn't always like that. Sometimes it is a relationship that is very caring and warm that can last for awhile..not forever.. but for the time it lasts it can be great for both involved. Men have done it for years, what is the difference? | |

| What do you think about cougars? Posted: 5/21/2006 10:16:03 PM | I was hit upon by a genuine canadian cougar last year on THE TUBE (!!) going home at 11.30pm on a monday evening! At the time, in my naivity, I didn't realise she was a cougar and just thought she was being particularly friendly..
She got off at the same stop and asked me if I wanted to go to a local bar and, to my suprise, I went along. After a couple of drinks, the cougar made her move and I found her paws making a move towards my crotch under the table.. It took all my safari skills to bat her off and after getting another round of drinks in to placate her, ran away into the urban jungle. Before I made my escape, I saw the cougar had already found a source of meat in the form of a couple of Japanese tourists drinking by the window... I do not think she went home hungry that evening...

Posted: 5/21/2006 10:34:24 PM | | friends of the family were down at waterton camping.. their 12 year old son took the the family dog(shitzu) out for a walk... now i would imagine that the city dog would be quite naive to the wildlife in the bush, and any way a cougar lept from the bush , snatching away the dog and the kid was left there holding the leash(true story)... now take this and transpose it to a bar scene where a a young naive male is checking out the new surroundings...lol.... parents standing at home with a look of bewilderment on them just holding a leash

Have any acticles talked about cougar habitat and what their prefered hunting grounds are? Blood will attract sharks from miles away, what sets cougars off?

Maybe we need a new option on the profiles looking for emal/friends/dating/cougars.
Its there. Its called the age restriction for who you want to let e-mail you. An eighteen year old can filter women in the 37 to 45 bracket out, or he can filter everybody but them out.
There's no startling new style of dating, its just women who like younger men.

| What do you think about cougars? Posted: 5/21/2006 11:58:35 PM | | I like all animals. Cougars are cool, they fit well in those Rocky Mountains of Western Noth America. I am really into animals, off all kind, but my favourites would be Polar Bears and Blue Whales. | |
