| Bald v shaven heads - and is bald beautiful? Posted: 5/22/2006 11:51:32 PM | Is there a difference or is it just splitting hairs? (sorry). It's just that I see many men who say they have a shaven head or a no1 cut and it turns out they have no hair to cut anyway. Is it self deception or does it matter anyway? Fellas, has it made you more or less popular with the ladies? Ladies - does a smooth bonce appeal or do you like to run your fingers through his locks? Or don't you care? | |

| Bald v shaven heads - and is bald beautiful? Posted: 5/23/2006 2:25:10 AM | I prefer men with hair, but then I like to keep my fingers busy (as oppose to lighting up a ciggie to do so) and having hair to either run through or play with is a good distraction (and can often lead to other areas being stroked )
Its all personal preference...

| Bald v shaven heads - and is bald beautiful? Posted: 5/23/2006 2:57:46 AM | As soon as I realised I was going bald (aged 25), I shaved it down to a 2, it's the only way to go. I tried shaving it too the bone once, but I kept clobbering my head off things, that extra few mm of hair is enough of a warning to stop moving my head towards that sharp object.
My experience, some girls like bald men, some don't like bald men, but no girl likes a bald guy trying not to be.

So you can be both at once easily, i see it all the time.
No it doesn't matter eaither way.
What do you think OP, does it matter of a man has hair or not or are you willing to see the other good traits in him and not reject him cause of hair or lack off.?

As for not having hair to run fingers through - there's normally hair elsewhere - chest perhaps? Partial to that too.
I will still date a guy with hair - although he better not go to sleep in my presence

It's time for the bobby charlton combover to make a comeback. If I go bald - that's the way I'm going
or a red wig like Mr Bronson

| Bald v shaven heads - and is bald beautiful? Posted: 5/24/2006 12:27:57 AM | Hiya m4you. I agree - just about ANYTHING is better than a comb over! To answer your question, for some reason in this country guys seem to lose their hair early on. To be honest it would put me off if it was someone in his 30s but not if it was more 'age appropriate'. I do prefer hair though. I find it more sexy. It's just a personal preference like someone said. No more superficial than a guy preferring slim as opposed to bbw or any of the other preferences people express on here. | |

I agree do a degree. But first off, I don't care how big a woman is as long as she has a big heart thats what i want. Also something like weight (generally speaking) a person has way more control over it then hairloss of any kind and I personally would not judge someone over something they have no control over!
Besides hair is just hair!! so much more to a person then their hair!!

| Bald v shaven heads - and is bald beautiful? Posted: 5/27/2006 3:29:48 AM | You know, I've always been a sucker for a sexy shaved head but I've come to the realization that not every 'head' is worthy of showing itself, some people can work it and do it flawlessly how ever others have some funny shaped heads and just look funny... I know thats just awfull to say but its true! But if youre going to shave it, maintain it!!! | |

i just dont like guys who insist on a "comb over" or wantin to look too much like a hippy, cos thats not the way to go in my opinion

I agree don't do the hippie look or the comb over, just shave it or have it real short or do some other kind of variation that makes it appear good.

| Bald v shaven heads - and is bald beautiful? Posted: 5/28/2006 3:38:37 AM | | Used to have collar length curls til 1983 when I went on holiday to Tunisia in the height of summer so shaved it down to a number 1 for comfort. Intention was to grow it back on my return, never happened. It gets cut every 2 weeks & now annoys me if it gets any longer! I have had many complimentary comments & I can promise I LOVE to have it massaged! Of course it's what's under the skin that matters most, but we know that dont we!!! | |
