If two people only know eachother from messages, than thats their love, in text, unlike in real life where the love isn't seen unless you watch for body language. | |

But, I think a person has a spirit, or vibes is you will, maybe a field of energy that unless you get insidie that area you can't tell if the love is true or just fantasy. Sometimes people are in love with the idea of being in love, and the reality isn't learned until they are physically in the same space. You need that affirmation or it turns out "see ya later". 
Just my thoughts on it.

Posted: 6/9/2006 10:47:19 AM | | I personally believe u have to spend time with the person to truly feel the deepest love in your heart..but the chatting and phone calls can certainly play a big part in the *getting to know someone*...and it also tends to ease some of the tention of goin out with someone u don't know..at least by doin this u can somewhat get to know them and r familiar with someone of the things they like or dislike..i also think that all the chatting is a sort of infatuation of things we want and know if we continue online..we cant have..just makes u that more anxious for more and hope like hell its as good in person as it is online.the sad reality is..alot of the ppl we chat with online are nothing like they are in person but there are a few that are who they say they r also...happy dating to you all..i wish u lots of luck and hope u find love | |

Posted: 6/27/2006 12:49:31 PM | I believe that you can love the idea of the tender messages phone calls , and even feel a total connection to the person who is sending them to you, but, until you actually spend real time with a person getting to know them and honestly knowing if this is real chemistry or just the heart playing on your desires for love, I wouldnt look to much into the letters or phone calls until it is face to face. | |

Posted: 7/5/2006 3:41:56 AM | Well i was open to falling in love , but thats because i was maybe looking to hard for something that wasnt really ever goin to exsist.. so i fell in love with the idea of falling in love b4 we met if that makes sense, but when your having the other person pledging their love for you , it is so easy to get caught up in the moment... it maybe can happen for some ppl, but for me, no way i keep my feet firmly on the ground now, and i want to fall in LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT' , not first txt or sound of voice,, haveing said that , the guy in question, i still chat with , and he will always have a place in my heart,  , well im woman after all, got mushy heart...lol and who knows what the future holds hey!!! | |

Posted: 7/10/2006 11:46:23 AM | lady502...YES...it is possible, anything in life is possible if we really want it...if you fall in love with messages and phone calls, then you get to know the person from inside...you become true friends...then becoming true loves...you go with what your heart tells you...even if sometimes you get hurt...it's a lesson in love...but I wouldn't stop the feeling...let your heart take you where it wants to go...so yes...I would say you can fall in love without first meeting...so I would say let go and see if it happens...only my opinion tho...

Posted: 7/11/2006 1:19:53 PM | I think that as you begin to talk with a member of the opposite sex,you kind of get a feel for who they are.If you continue to talk regularly,once or twice a week for a couple of months,you will see if there are any inconsistentcies or contradictions to what the person previously had said.We call them lies!
There are many of us out here ,male as well as female,who want so much to find that person they dreamt of for so long.Because of that we become vulnerable and tend to want to believe everything we hear.I am not saying that all are liars,but there are those out there who will say what someone wants to hear.Predators in a sense.
I really do not believe there can be "love before first sight"for if you do not spend the time together to see whether or not the man or woman really is who they say they are,we are no more than"young lovers" who make this mistake out of immaturity.
Think about it.How could anyone fall in love with a sexy or nice voice and think that this person is the "real" thing he or she purports to be.
We all know in our hearts that love takes time to develop and to be nurtured.So many of us have been hurt or are so lonely(sorry ladies,but especially women)for so long that we are ready to listen and believe anything that comes close to being a kind word from a seemingly kind person.

I really like some people for instance spread across the globe in Eastern Europe, Western Europe, and Australia but not having ever met face to face and seen them in their daily life there is a side that doubts they are totally up front and honest with me. :)

Posted: 11/3/2006 3:59:29 PM | | Im thinking that you can make yourself believe you are in love meeting online.But I think it takes the meeting and getting to know who they are as a person.At least thats what I have found.The one I met and we had plenty of online conversations.Its just something was missing a main ingredient.And I think it was being around one another was needed.And we werent,so of course its going to just fade out. | |

Posted: 11/8/2006 8:39:32 AM | hmmm, let's see....people fall in love with the words written from others...words of honest. people fall in love with hearing the voice on the phone...voice of sincerety. people do fall in love at first site, some call it infatuation, some call it puppy love, but i call it being normal. it's when you have your eyes and ears join together in your heart and believing in the words and voice..................that tends to build the person that you're looking at.
