| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/23/2006 6:33:23 PM | Ok....I'm obsessed with wrestling..so I'm curious...I want to know what anyone else thinks about TNA vs WWE...I personally think that TNA is MUCH better...it's WAY more action and kick-butt stuff...WWE has gotten way more "backstage-boring-same ol"....plus TNA has Christian Cage...and well, lets face it...Jason Reso is H-O-T! Anyone else have an opinion? | |
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/23/2006 8:09:46 PM | | I like TNA, and they do have better wrestling more often then not, but they're still behind in some things. Production values of course, but that's cause WWE has more money. They also have to rush some things because they only have an hour show. Still though, if you like high flying action, TNA is the place to go cause they don't bury the smaller guys like the WWE. | |
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/23/2006 9:39:17 PM | I think TNA needs to be careful about bringing in too many of the older guys. I like Sting coming back and was glad to see that they had him team with Joe instead of one of the old WCW guys. I don't like the whole Kevin Nash against the x-divison angle though. I think they need to take the straps off of AMW also, having Daniels and AJ as tag team champs would be awesome for matches with team Canada. I do wish it was a 2 hour show.
WWE will get more interesting after they re-form DX, I just wish McMahon would keep himself off TV, an appearance every now and then is ok but having him in an ongoing storyline gets old real quick, have him go away and have Stone Cold come back as GM.

| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/24/2006 7:06:25 AM | The TNA I get here is so far behind the US that usually some muppet spoils it for me before I see it. Christian hasnt even join yet on the shows over here. Im going to subscribe to Fight! so I can at least watch the PPV's
I prefer WWE, probably beacuse Ive grown up with it. My one gripe with the WWE is that they dont give the new talent a shot often enough. Ok I know Boogyman was great in OVW but he is totaly past it, and his gimmick is reminicent of the 80's
I'd like to see CM Punk given a run, but apparently there is a clash of personalities with the bookers and HHH so it's not looking likely. Instead they opt for another monster with a mouth full of cotton wool...arrrrrghghgh Imma kaaahli unnndeteker. oh well at least they made him "speak?" in Hindi now.
ECW is gonna be good too, I love the Edge/Foley storyline.
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/24/2006 11:36:58 AM | | Personally I love TNA better. The WWE has more entertaining storylines, but when I want to watch actual wrestling I tune into TNA. AJ Styles is by far the most exciting wrestler out there (close 2nd and 3rd to Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels). As for CM Punk, he did a little spot for WWE at Wrestlemania as one of the gangsters that were in the car for Cena's entrance. As well, apparently he may be on the verge of a contract for ECW. He gets that and EVERYONE will know who he is. Great talent that needs to be on T.V. | |
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/24/2006 1:16:41 PM | Good to know that I'm not the only one who likes TNA better....WWE has MORE storylines...but I wouldnt call them exciting...it's the same ones over and over...i mean lets take DX for example...the last couple weeks it's been obvious that they're attempting to bring back DX..Don't get me wrong...I was one of the BIGGEST fans of DX when they were out the FIRST time...but bringing it back...just like when they brought back NWO to WWE...NOT a good idea...it's just going to kill itself... | |
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/24/2006 3:03:54 PM | | I prefer TNA and NJPW over WWE, but remember one thing. It's not TNA vs WWE yet. TNA need's to get a better time slot for Impact and need to get there other show on a network. Also they have to do for traveling and need to keep the right's to the NWA World Tag Team and World Heightweight Title if they want any chance of competing in the future. | |
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/24/2006 4:12:35 PM | | Good points made by both Andikins and Gr8 1. I like what TNA has been doing. Now if they can get some cashflow going and travel into Canada....BOOYAH BABY!!!! I know I've personally bought like 4 or 5 shirts from them so I'm trying to do my part. LOL I would love to see it get to the same level as WCW vs WWE...but that might be a year or two away. THey tour to Canada though...I just might go on a road trip to see ever Canadian show. LOL | |
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/24/2006 4:57:41 PM | OMG eople agree with me lol break out the bubblely, I love the TNA, the angle and the wrestling jsut way better plus you dont have a bilion wreslters and you're like who the hell is that one week from the next.
TOP TNA Wrestlers
1. Team Canada ( i love these guys) 2. Jeff Jarrett (loved him in WWE , love him in TNA) 3. Alex Shelley 4. Shark Boy 5. AMW
TOP Hated TNA
1. Raven 2. Sting 3. Team 3D 4. James Gang 5. Samoe Joe
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/24/2006 5:02:33 PM | | i got one question about companies going against WWE...why is Jeff Jerrett always the champ lol is it just me seeing this..but the guy has the tittle all the time when hes not on WWE. I love the guy...but hes not heavy weight material. Jeff Bagwell is my favorite tho..too funny | |
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/24/2006 5:30:22 PM | | I have only seen a few TNA shows but its pretty good they have some great wrestlers. They also don't seem to talk as much as the WWE wrestlers. | |
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/24/2006 5:51:40 PM | My top 5 from TNA would be:
AJ Styles Christopher Daniels Samoa Joe Petey Williams Felix Skipper
Worst 5:
Jeff Jarrett Jeff Jarrett Jeff Jarrett Jeff Jarrett Jeff Jarrett
I have ALWAYS hated Jeff Jarrett and will always hate him. I'd say the only time he was tolerable was back when he was in the WWE and tagging with Owen Hart. Don't get me wrong though, I actually respect Jarrett. He's TNA's version of Shawn Michaels to me. Tons of talent but I can't stand the guy.
As for the question regarding why it seems Jarrett is always the champ, Christian Cage finally got the belt off him a couple of months ago but before that Jarrett had the title for almost an entire year. Asides from the fact that he gets the most heal heat in TNA, the other reason he had the belt for so long is because he's part owner of TNA. If you owned a fledgling company and needed a bankable star as champ and you were one of the only guys with name recognition wouldn't you want to make yourself champ? Now that they finally have some other big names in the company, I think that's why Jarrett relinquished the belt.
I think one of the best innovations for TNA has been the X Division. By far the most exciting wrestling on T.V. right now.
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/24/2006 7:49:15 PM | | its actually Elix Skipper, but not a big fan of him nor Christopher Daniels, not a big fan of the X divison period ,but man reason about Jarrett being champ was the fact that no one in TNA really was a main threat before Cage arrived, I mean it was either Sting or Jarrett besides the the one siwtch to a so-so wrestler such as AJ Styles, Rhyno, Raven not Main Eventers | |
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/24/2006 8:15:59 PM | Aak...corrected by Mack... and he's right...screwed up on Elix.
Sting wasn't in it until after Rhyno and Cage. As for so-so wrestler (AJ Styles), you have got to be blind man. He's the most electrifying wrestler out there today. He didn't get the Phenominal tag for nothing. All Jarrett has over some of these young guys is name recognition. Give them a couple of years and you'll see the revolution happen.
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/24/2006 8:19:59 PM | | No i do agree AJ Styles is a great high flyer, but hima s the Champ wouldnt look right hes more suited for tag or X-Divsion matches | |
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/24/2006 8:21:29 PM | | I did not know that Jeff Hardy was wrestling again I am definetly going to start watchin TNA more often. | |
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/24/2006 9:31:11 PM | Jeff hardy isnt on TNA that much, he seems to have a hard time finding his way to the tapings on time.
Chief 76, Jeff bagwell is the 1st basemean for the Astros, i think you mean Buff Bagwell. lol
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/25/2006 12:00:58 AM | I agree with the Jeff Jarrett thing..I DISPISE HIM...I hated him in WWE/WWF and I hate him even more in TNA....not a big fan of AJ either...but I'll at least admit that he's got skills...same with Daniels, don't like him either...but I think that's cause of my 'heel' feddish...I'm totally obsessed with all guys who are heels...except Christian Cage...he's not exactly a heel...but i love him...but I mean who wouldn't...he's hot...he's talented in and out of the ring..and he's just GOOD! As for Jeff Hardy...I miss seeing him in the ring...I was wondering if he was still in TNA...havn't seen him in ages..though I do miss shows once in awhile...I did notice that someone said they hated the 'James Gang'...how can you hate the James Gang? They're KICK ASS! The good 'ol DX days back in town...all they need is Sean Waltman and they'll be all set... | |
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/25/2006 3:10:39 AM | | LOL yes sorry i meant Buff Bagwell. what a bad mistake that was. Thanks | |
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/25/2006 4:24:44 AM | | TNA is becoming a good product within its own and if given enough time, money and better timeslot, TNA will become a major contender to the WWE to be delt with in the near future. | |
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/25/2006 5:13:59 AM | | i think one thing they need to do is merchadise alot better, also reason why i hate the James Gang, i simply dont think they have that much talent, like basically its jsut punches and suplexs from BG, and Kimp with the drops kicks and clotheslines, i dont like teams that are repetative in moves, try something new. I dunno i just hated them even as single wreslters jsut never found them talented. I see where you coming from with the Heel thing, TNA has better heels then WWE. But come on you all have to admit we all love TEAM Canada and Showtime Eric Younge | |
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/25/2006 6:33:37 AM | Jeff Jarrett is alway's champ because he still own's 30% of TNA.
I agree with you Mack on the Jame's Gang, they need to learn a few thing's from Team 3D,Team Canada, and AMW.
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/25/2006 6:42:52 AM | Guaranteed Jarrett wins the title at King of the mountain match due to the fact he refers to him as such.
Also not a big fan on Team 3D either, fin them boring as a team to watch as well. Only tag teams i cant stand are AMW and Team Canada both very power yet with use the high flying techiques as well
| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/27/2006 10:12:59 PM | I dont think that there is a TNA vs. WWE yet. I know that they're the only two major and semi-major Wrestling promotions right now...but that doesn't mean that there is a major competition. WWE is only worried about pushing the same man to the top of the mountain and higher (which is driving people like me nuts).....TNA is only worried about picking up WWE mistakes (christian) and running with them. This will only take TNA so far.
There will be a TNA vs. WWE if WWE keeps pushing John Cena like they are, and driving away fans...
TNA's main goal should be trying to establish a prime time spot, not a 11PM shot where people fall asleep before the main event.

| TNA vs WWE Posted: 5/28/2006 6:24:18 AM | | Actually i disagree, i think TNA is run muchmore better, because you dont have these feuds go on forever, and for the oens that due they are creative Team 3D vs Team Canada, AMW vs Daniel/Styles, Abyss / Cage. They just run the company this much better then WWE who just pushes 1 or 2 guys to the top, while TNA rotates it you could have 5-6 guys on top in a year | |
