| Favorite Beach on the Island??? Posted: 6/5/2006 7:32:15 PM | I can't tell ya how many beaches I partied on, chelton, donahoe, Lockshore, Linkletter, seacowhead. The out of the way beaches are the best to party on, don't get kicked off!
where is your favorite beach/party spot?
Panmure island is a pretty nice spot too, great beach and awesome campground.

It would be a good idea to have a meet up at the beach this summer.. bonfire.. booze.. maybe pitch a few tents??? could be fun

| Favorite Beach on the Island??? Posted: 4/9/2007 6:26:39 AM | Definitely Thundercove !! Spent a lot of time there when I was a teen - many moons ago! It is awesome to watch the moonrise over the water
Despite its reputation I like Blooming Point, too. Nice wide beach so nobody is walking on you
We will be having a beach party soon - right???

We had fun just going to a local dance here in Charlottetown - it should be a blast when we organize our own. Hopefully it will have a BIG dance floor

| Favorite Beach on the Island??? Posted: 1/12/2009 7:45:33 PM | I spent every summer vacation over on the island when I was growing up. My parents were both born and raised there. We as children/teenagers always wanted to go to Cavendish and the popular beaches. My parents didn't quite like the crowded and touristry beaches and always took us to the most remote beaches. Also my Great Uncle owned land that led down to a private beach so we spent many days there. Funny how you never appreciate such things until you're an adult. | |

I'm not a fan of any of our "public" parks or beaches, my faves are the unknown, unnamed end of the dirt road spots. No fee to visit a beach (shouldn't be one to begin with)! No money grabs - just the sun, surf and sand .. mmmmm.
My # 1 Fave spot is MacCallums Point. There are a couple spots further west that aren't traps for the tourist dollar; also Very nice ..
hmm... Maybe this coming summer we can organize a private beach party! Sleeping bags . .. weinees .. We could call it "PEI POF Survivor Night" .. Maybe have a few little competitions, hide an immunity idol .. stuff like that ..
Anyone? | |
