| When did asking your bra size become socially acceptable? Posted: 6/6/2006 2:22:46 PM | I was just wondering if any one else out there is having the same experience as me. With maybe 1 or 2 exceptions, every man I have talked to online, within 5 minutes of the conversation, is asking me what size bra do I wear, and whether or not I like oral sex.
When did these kinds of questions, asked of a complete stranger, become socially acceptable? Is it the relative anonymity of the internet that makes people so rude? I never ask a man for his measurements, and as far as talking about sex, is that just a new way of weeding out potential dates?

| When did asking your bra size become socially acceptable? Posted: 6/6/2006 2:27:21 PM | Last I checked, tact was still tact. So no it is no exceptable. Unfortunately it is guys like that that end up ruining it for everyone else, so please don't take themas an example of the rest of us. Some of us would rather know your favourite movie, song, poet, author, ice cream flavour, etc etc...
Makes you want to ask what their IQ is

| When did asking your bra size become socially acceptable? Posted: 6/6/2006 3:08:40 PM | OP...Lipsmacka...Becky (luv ya)........Let me add a simple comment.
Yes guys are brutal sometimes, asking personal questions....but...it's not just the guys. Women can...and have been just as upfront and pretensious. Again I can only speak from my personal experience, and maybe I put out a signal tha encourages it, but it still happens. Just my 2 cents (personally I don't find it offensive, I find it flattering)

| When did asking your bra size become socially acceptable? Posted: 6/6/2006 3:10:26 PM | Acceptable?? You must be kidding. Not to me. The "talk" won't last for 5 minutes if I detested the other person only interest in body parts.
My experiences are these guys will get upset or lost interest in even talking if you don't talk "dirty" with them. One guy cited me as "sad", as "so beautiful, but no fun". HAHAHA

| When did asking your bra size become socially acceptable? Posted: 6/6/2006 3:21:57 PM | Asking the question isn't socially acceptable, but I think you probably already know that. There is nothing about that question that's right. If someone were to ask me that, I'd come back with "...and your dik is how big??" (Like he'd tell the truth---ha!)
To me, this question is along the same lines as "why is it okay to show breasts in movies, but not a penis"? How did womens breasts become so exploited, commercialized and less off limits than a mans privates? Breasts have become devalued. A smaller example that really irks me is that it's perfectly acceptable for chicks to show their breasts in pics, but let a guy do the equivalent and suddenly it's just so wrong.
Sorry, just irritates the tinkle outta me.

| When did asking your bra size become socially acceptable? Posted: 6/6/2006 3:31:22 PM | | As a guy I take offense to butterfly. She said EVERY guy asks bra size within 5 minutes . This guy does not . It is not cool to generalize every man . If I had to guess you made this thread very shortly after it happened to you .Thus, the emotion and anger was running high at the time you started this thread | |

| When did asking your bra size become socially acceptable? Posted: 6/6/2006 3:34:15 PM | I do not believe it is acceptable on any level.
Having said that... the internet has allowed for some anonymity, and as a result people tend to get much more bold... I know I feel a lot more comfortable saying things online then I would in person... but only AFTER I know more about a person. I think I will be employing a few of the tactics mentioned here a little more often...

| When did asking your bra size become socially acceptable? Posted: 6/6/2006 3:39:30 PM | I guess asking bra size became acceptable around the same time "do you spit or swallow" became acceptable......NOT
These are obviously people who are looking for sex alone, have no manners, are desperate, and have some inclination that the woman (or man) they are speaking to is desparate also....
Some how "are you a sexual person", "do you like sex", and other similar questions are supposed to what.........turn us on?
Show some respect. | |

| When did asking your bra size become socially acceptable? Posted: 6/6/2006 3:48:54 PM | Look, I understand it is a degrading and not appropriate question...HOWEVER, you women just as often on here ask how big is it??? or what do you do for a living? How much do you make???? Where you going to take me to dinner????...... Why complain, as others said, use it as a weeding tool, at least you know right away that guy or girl is NOT FOR YOU!!! | |

| When did asking your bra size become socially acceptable? Posted: 6/6/2006 3:53:28 PM | LET ME TELL YA , IT DEPENDS ON HOW UR ASKED.SOME MEN LIKE GIRLS WITH BIG BREASTS, AND SOME GILS LIKE MEN WITH BIG TESTIES OR BIG WANGS ITS OK IN MY BOOK TO ASK THAT AS LONG AS ITS NOT THE FIRST QUESTION!!!!!!!!! (OR FIRST E-MAIL) EVERYONE DEEP IN SIDE IS WONDERING ,THAT BUT I CAN AGREE WITH U THERE IS A TIME AND PLACE AND TIME LIMIT 2 ASK THAT QUESTION, | |

| When did asking your bra size become socially acceptable? Posted: 6/6/2006 3:54:47 PM | | First and foremost, not every man asks such questions. I'd also say that in 5 minutes of having a conversation with someone, you can get a feeling of what type of openiness/conversation topics they are willing to explore. Perhaps you're giving them the impression that you're up for chatting about anything from A-Z? | |

| When did asking your bra size become socially acceptable? Posted: 6/6/2006 7:05:25 PM | I get asked how much I weigh, what size bra I wear and if they can have my phone and it's way out of line.
I'm wondering how men would feel if we judged them by the measurement of their johnson. There'd definitely be a lot of shortcomings.

Seems he/they were just attempting to find out your overall size. They should have just estimated, since your pic plainly shows you as fullbodied. Not the thin/average/athletic type at all.
Maybe they wanted to determine if you were hardup for sex or, i dont know

| When did asking your bra size become socially acceptable? Posted: 6/6/2006 8:43:34 PM | Never been overly concerned about bra size, more about willingness to remove it. That being said. Havent written anyone asking about thier willingness to get naked as an opening line. If the woman starts talking that way, no need for me to back away | |
