I wonder how many flags will still be waving by the time the final comes along!

I am evil. | |

| Let's Ban All Flags Flying From Cars. Posted: 6/7/2006 6:23:28 AM | I have had my flag on my parcel shelf for several months now and have always had some kind of St George displayed on my car.
I am proud to be English and I don't care what bans they put in place I will display the St George with pride. If I offend anyone I really couldn't care less. I am English and will show I am English - regardless of football, rugby or any other non-patriotic reason to fly the flag.
I do have the door flags too and admittedly these will only be on display during the football but this is purely because I have to take them in every night and it becomes a nuisance if I have to do it year round.

My HUGE flag will go in my window from Friday to support the boys - can't leave it all year round it makes my room a bit dark !!
I live in Germany | |

| Let's Ban All Flags Flying From Cars. Posted: 6/7/2006 8:48:07 AM | My work have just given out flags and balls and things as we are sponsoring the coverage on the telly. I decided not to fit the flag on my car but it is on my PC at work.
I don't like football but I am patriotic. Fingers crossed for the team.

| Let's Ban All Flags Flying From Cars. Posted: 6/7/2006 10:38:09 AM | I think it's wicked to see so many English flags flying. We've even got more English flags up in our office at the moment than we had Xmas decorations - says it all, I reckon!!
Just bought my car flags today, at the bargain price of 25p in Somerfield - get in there!

| Let's Ban All Flags Flying From Cars. Posted: 6/7/2006 3:25:11 PM | So, the Queen cannot fly her standard from her limo, nor can the Lord Mayor etc?
Listen, here in London, we have a multitude of flags flown from cars showing all manner of foreign countries. That Jamaica ( a former slave colony ffs) is very popular, as is Guyana, St Lucia etc...yet I can't understand why those flying those flags are living among the hated English.....
Just once in a while, it's good for us English to be able to fly our flag ( the flag of this country) without some miserable bas-tard moaning about offending our unwelcome guests. No one ever appears to moan about these foreign flags..

| Let's Ban All Flags Flying From Cars. Posted: 6/7/2006 4:41:43 PM | The DVLA have just set up a new method of shaming bad drivers.
What they have done is enforced that all these less gifted souls place a red cross on a white square somewhere on their car, preferably attached to the top of a door frame.
Those drivers who are a danger not only to themselves, but also to every man, woman and child are to be given two of these warning signs.
Bad joke badly told... but i laughed
