| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/8/2006 10:45:39 AM | Al Qaeda's leader in Iraq, Al Zarqawi was killed today in Iraq by US Forces..
Dose anyone think now that the terrorists top man is dead the violence and trouble in Iraq will stop or slow down? Will anyone be celebrating the death of this madman who was responsible for the death of the British hostage Ken Bigley and British troops?
Is it about time all these fundamentalist guys in Iraq were all dealt with as women are suffering now due to their extremism and having to change their lifestyles because of it....

Posted: 6/8/2006 10:52:10 AM | Thing is even after the Iraqi people have been "liberated",they people are still bombing our troops, and are clearly not happy with us being there..Yet another reason why Tony Blair and G.Bush are a bunch of propoganda merchants, trying to say they needed and wanted to be free...however i still remain neutral,,cos some wars arew just...hope that wasnt off topicy Hams dude??!!!

| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/8/2006 10:52:24 AM | i maybe wrong but isn't their fundamentalist dictat an eye for an eye? so think the timing couldnt be worse with the world cup starting tomorrow/
peace just isnt there thing, they believe in the mantra of martyrdom so are looking to die in battle , laying down arms in peaceful solution is seen as cowardice

| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/8/2006 10:56:52 AM | Al Queda have release a statement saying they are happy to announce the martyrdom of al-Zarqawi.
So it looks like a good day all round.....
Let's make more of them happy by arranging a reunion meeting with Bin Laden, Al-zarqawi and allah........
I don't believe in gods etc but on the off chance there is a hell, I hope Al-Z's sorry ass is roasting slowly in it on a spit.
Hope he has some friends to keep him company soon....
|
| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/8/2006 3:42:54 PM | | He will be replaced very quickly... wish we could have seen him in chains instead... He is only a martyr to the insurgency now. | |

| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/8/2006 4:26:30 PM | | It wont stop until we're out....and I reckon it will be quite a long time aftewards. As much as they are suffering at the hands of themselves, I'm sure many are suffering at the hands of us too. (You wont see that on the evening news though). Is it their women that are suffering or ours? Could we be a little arrogant in thinking that the world should be more like us?.......with our rocketing crime, promiscuity, chlamydia, unwanted babies, alcoholism and drug abuse? Just food for thought thats all! | |

| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/8/2006 5:25:47 PM | | I wish I lived in your world. Coz when i sit in my doctors surgery lookin at ads for abortion clinics/STD testing, drug n alcohol helplines and then read the papers headlines about rocketing violence on our streets, it saddens me. I have never lived in a so-called "fundamentalist state" so can't really comment, but equally, I'm not sure the world should be aspiring to be more like us. Thats all I was trying to say. I'm sorry if I caused any offence. | |

| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/9/2006 12:47:30 AM | well personally as an ex forces guy i know that it wont end and as one big fish has been killed it doesnt stop the hatred for the us and uk forces out there 1 bit these people are brained washed by their religeon to kill the west. Its a sad state of affairs and this is only the beginning of what could be some thing real bad for ever. . I just carnt see an end to this ugly war of terroism against non islamic people 1 bit,i mean the ira were bad ,but these people are plain evil and dark ages. What annoys me is all the aisians living in the uk who have ben found in persession of chemical and explosives making material.or just preach and teach islam to potentially brain washed suicidal bombers. Lets hang the lot and have done. | |

| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/9/2006 5:15:57 AM | The people I feel sorry for in all this are the rest of the guests who were at the Al-Summerz party.....
I dunno, one minute its all canapes and modelling the latest in sexy suicide lingerie, next minute the house comes crashing down around your ears in an explosion of naughty burkhas, bras and sex toys.....
I bet zarqawi's replacement won't get asked round for tea very often.....

| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/9/2006 9:04:03 AM | | american forces taking all the credit again....it is all down to british intelligence and british forces on the ground infiltrating these terrorists. | |
|
| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/9/2006 12:45:53 PM | just 2 things to say
1. we all saw the precision strike that got Zarqawi on tv.....how many strikes have happened where the intelligence was wrong and innocent people have died?
2. i heard a report where it was claimed that osama would be happy to replace Zarqawi with someone a little less thirsty for the blood of fellow muslims.....imagine this scenario....osama says Zarqawi has to go so arranges for the americans to do the job and bags some pocket money in the process....a win/win situation...cool stuff?

| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/9/2006 3:38:55 PM | | On the Beeb news tonight (9th June) it was said that Zarqaki was still alive when the troops reached the scene. Should be an interesting post-mortem.... | |

Marky, from what you've seen, are they brainwashed by religion? Or is it about politics? I haven't been out there so I don't know the thinking of the fighters on the streets of Iraq, whereas you have expereinced it. I am curious as to whether they hate the west because we are not Muslim, or whether they have a grudge for non-religious and more political/historical reasons? When I read Bin Ladens latest speech to the Americans, there was little mention of them being second rate because they are not Islamic, but full of distaste at how Muslims in (ex.Palestine) have ben treated over the years by the west. I wondered if that was the general feeling on the streets of Iraq? Could anyone who has been there shed any light?

| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/10/2006 4:38:24 AM | Its a decent start tho.....
One less dangerous looney in the world.....
The sooner we can send all these terrorists to the promised land the better.
I wouldn't sell his successor life insurance either......or the one after...

| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/10/2006 4:53:05 AM | Gary:... post 16 was quoting post 10...
It's going to be a new gameset now that this leader (Zarqawi) is gone. I wonder if contingency plans have been made for after his demise. If the US and UK have learned nothing these past 3 years about forward planning and making plans ABCDEFG etc, then everything will have been in vain. Bush never anticipated what would happen after the fall of the Iraqi regime. He had no contingency plans other than 'get rid of Saddarm'. Just as the US never anticipated the resilience of the Vietnamese people in that conflict, so this administration have underestimated the nature and culture of the peoples in that region of the world.
This will go down as the 'ugly scar' of our generation.

| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/10/2006 5:45:56 AM | ^^^^^^^^ I know... I was looking for this emote to go with it
I have an ex-partner out in Iraq at this moment. On his 2nd tour of duty there, but not thre for 3 months like the UK troops, he's there for 12 months and the time before, 16 months. I have a different perspective than most British people, cos he's an American service man. I've heard the stories from the American soldier's point of view, and it's not ice listening at all..
I can't even bear to speculate on the outcome of all this, cos it will never be as I could possibly imagine..
|
| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/10/2006 5:59:53 AM | | It's a coup of sorts for the Americans but Al Quaeda is sure to try and even up the score. Unfortunately I think we have a bit more to worry about than 'women and their lifestyles'. As for your 'party' post gentleman x, was this an attempt at humour? Don't give up the day job.... | |

| Al Qaeda Leader,Al Zarqawi Dead.... Posted: 6/10/2006 7:27:11 AM | I am extremely delighted he faced the same fate he did for a living Was more delighted when I heard he was alive before they came... means he suffered like Amani, Lana, Amal... and other innocent girls suffered at the wedding party he planned for and implemented.
For those who don't know Zarqawi they'd think he's just an insurgent blood thristy fundamental criminal For those who know where he comes from, he is nothing but a former drug addict who found only the lap of extremist fundamentalists to provide shelter for him Before that he was roaming endlessly in the stinky streets of Zarqa/Jordan sniffing petrochemical adhesives, stealing wallets in the bus station, and heading a gang
It took only a few deviant fundamentalists to make a monster of him... and a few American lunatics to establish him as a legend
He is a martyr for just a few... others would like him to resurrect so that he'd die again and again and again
Sorry, he's not the end of the bloodshed... his group was only a punch of lunes... there are hundreds of punches of lunes all around Iraq...
Irony is these lunes were there when Saddam was in power, but they could do nothing cause he knew how to handle them...
it always takes a few lunes to drive sane people nuts
