I once sat beside a gal at a dinner party who had her steak "blue"! I swear to God that I could hear it mooing! Not sure how you folks can tolerate that!!!

| How you like your Steak done? Posted: 6/16/2006 1:03:20 PM | Contrary to popular belief you can get a steak well done with out it being shoe leather. That is how I like mine. A faint pink inside and I can tolerate it but I do mean faint. I am not into eatting raw meat of any kind, well maybe one but we wont go there....lol
New York Strip or Sirion is my favorite cut

| How you like your Steak done? Posted: 6/17/2006 12:06:51 AM | Depends on the cut of steak and who's cooking it. There's a restaurant in Sacramento called La Boheme` and if you get a steak rare from them, it just freaking rules. I think they do this Medallions of Beef au Roquefort and that with the filet mignons rare is just heaven.
Also too, if you're gonna go with Prime Rib, then rare is the only way. If you get it too well done, rather anything OTHER than rare, then it's too tough. Or so it's been in my experience.
But I don't get a chance to eat steaks all that often. That would require money which my illustrius exwife and our lawyers have taken most of. Therefore, I live in the poor house of eating steak when my parents happen to be in town and decide they want to fatten me up(for the slaughter).
Me and my Ramen will do fine for a long long time, thank you very much. I can survive off of that for a long long time.

anything else rare- med rare
i find the lesser cut the more closer to med rare i like it. but i would rather spend the money on good meat instead of going cheaper for something i don't like.
