| Mode of transportation? Posted: 6/13/2006 3:32:00 PM | | My car. I live about 20 minutes from Downtown Halifax by car, and there is NO public transportation here. A cab is $40. Gas is cheaper since I have to drive into town on an almost daily basis. | |
|
| Mode of transportation? Posted: 6/13/2006 3:32:51 PM | Currently mostly walking as I live in the South End of Halifax. Otherwise car.
Who is the as shole that selected this as an Attention/Pity thread? Probably not a local. If so, you have issues. Stupid f'ing new option.

| SUV and Metro Transit LINK Posted: 6/13/2006 4:29:04 PM | | I "park and ride" Metro Transit to work on the new LINK bus (the one I was on yesterday p.m. was involved in an accident on Windmill Road - buddy in the inside lane attempted to move over too close/fast and side-swiped the bus). Otherwise, I drive my SUV when I need to. Need a more economical and ecology friendly vehicle! | |

Me too, I love putting the roof down in the summer. Well, the back panels are a pain the a*** but the roof one is easy and just flips back (Chev Tracker).
Just sucks if you get bird poo on your driving console.

| how do you get around??? Posted: 6/20/2006 4:05:03 PM | | Bus in the AM, walk in the PM. I can drive but I wouldn't want to ever try parking downtown or driving in rush hour traffic. Plus, there is no way I could afford the car, insurance, gas, parking, tickets, maintenance and everything else I hear all you drivers complain about. | |
