| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 2:01:40 PM | This is for the TV quality women out there who are 30 and over. Ok, you must understand there are attractive 30 - 54 aged women on this site. And they look young even in recent photos. Can anyone volunteer stuff like what kind of life you lived? Daily schedule while you were in your 20s? Where you worked in your 20s? Which college or high school you went to?
I just find it strange I can find so many young looking older women.

| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 2:23:52 PM | | No sh*t, eh? Inquiring minds want to know.... | |
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 2:31:12 PM | I just wanna know how some look so young. Like this woman in my Entreprenuership class. You couldn't guess it right away but she is 31. So I am like WTF, how?
And she says I am too young to date her. But, that is beside the point.
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 2:55:43 PM | I wish I could comment, but I look every bit of my 38 years....it's those Canadian women that look like that; must be the fresh air or the water or something.... | |
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 3:48:04 PM | My guess? Genes, and of course in the end "what you eat".
If you eat crap, you look like crap, as the saying goes: "You are what you eat".
Then there is sun, sun simply does "kill" skin, no way around it. If you're constantly outside and exposed your skin will be toast sooner rather than later.
But in the end: Genes. | |
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 4:17:51 PM | Genes mostly, no drugs or caffeine helps alot too. | |
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 4:31:51 PM | My real name is Dorian Grey, and I have a portrait of myself that ages, while I don't. You have to watch the movie or read the book . | |
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 4:34:42 PM | I'm ONLY going by what I've been told- that I look 10 yrs younger I think it is likely hereditary and not smoking must help | |
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 5:07:08 PM | | Genes? I don't know, I get told often by the guys on site that I don't look as old as I am but who knows. Fresh ocean air would be my only thought. | |
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 5:13:00 PM | paigeĀ® - you look great!
I've been told by many people that they are surprised to find out how old I am. Problem is a lot of guys search based on age, so even if look younger, they pass us by.
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 5:39:56 PM | Hmmm - and here I was thinking that I've seen a lot of pics of men and women who looked, frankly, far older than their profile indicated.
But maybe it's all in the perception.
Or the deception.

Or maybe it's just the stronger beer that gives us Canucks that youthful "glow"?
JK, Fry-lock...I look every bit my 34 years too
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 5:52:55 PM | what a silly question if you'd ask me..BUT there are like thousands of other silly questions throughout the forums over the years so why should this be a surprise lol.
Lets all just go by the saying, if you are young at heart, then you are young!!
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 6:02:32 PM | There are several explanations and contributing factors: - genetics - avoiding sun - not smoking - not drinking - avoiding risky behaviors - good diet - exercise - positive outlook on life - plastic surgery! | |
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 8:10:28 PM | | stay out of the sun I think is the most important thing. | |
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 9:00:14 PM | Well, going by zentrals list
I can only claim genetics avoiding risky behaviors.....whatever THAT means....lol and a Positive outlook on life
so, I guess I look all of my 46 years
But I dont care, one way or tother, nothing I can do about the progress of TIME
Life is 99% Attitude if ya ask ME
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 9:01:52 PM | | ^^^^ Yes, Zentrals list is correct, wear sunblock and get a lot of rest | |
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 9:10:46 PM | I see a lot of the women that post in the forums and most of them do look younger than they say they are. With a lot of the men it is the opposite.
I don't care what anyone says men simply age sooner than women. Society simply allows men to be more wrinkled up than women and still be considered good looking. My son is a good example. He is only 22 and I can see the crows feet starting to appear. His girlfriend who is the same age looks like she is about 14.
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 9:31:48 PM | hmm...certainly some women live their lives with a great sense of optimism which can project a younger state of mind and attitude; they may be able to handle the levels of stress in their lives having a more positive spin on things.
Having said that, Biology proves that we reap the rewards of actually feeling and looking younger by a conscientious lifestyle of activity (whether that is being involved in recreational sports such as biking, hiking, swimming, tennis just to name a few, or just taking more walks and stairs throughout your day-to-day routine). In addition, "you are what you eat" hense the right kinds of foods will have a direct affect on your skin, hair texture, and figure over time. Again biologically speaking, over exposure to the sun and excessive alchohol/tabacco intake reverse the healthy growth of muscles and tissues (over time).
So I guess to find the 'fountain of youth' is to be good to yourself!

| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/20/2006 10:00:11 PM | Hmmm...welllll I smoke...I don't eat the healthiest...although I do try....I don't get half as much exercise as I should.....yet I still weigh in at 120lbs ( thanks to a high metabolism)...look great in low-rider jeans...and have men half my age...literally...lol..hitting on me all the time.....so all I can think of is it's either the fact I'm Canadian and drink a looot of water....the fact I am Canadian and appreciate our good strong beer...the fact I am pale so tanning only happens after I burn to a crisp...so I tend to avoid it..lol...or the fact that I have a pretty upbeat, optimistic attitude/perspective on life.
I think it's really more about the attitude...but I can go with the Canadian thing if you all like!

| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/21/2006 1:09:29 AM | I look about 10 years younger than I am. It has to do with good genes, a lifestyle without excess alcohol and no cigarette smoking, and good moisturizing. But I think the biggest factor is the heredity factor. Both my parents look great well into their 70s. | |
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/21/2006 1:50:23 AM | Could be all the preservatives in processed foods. Someone actually believed me when I said that. | |
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/21/2006 2:30:11 AM | it's fresh blood of young virgins of both sexes, ( paparazzi puncher, where are you to back me up on this?? ;-) )
I'm actually 346 years old...
and yep, staying away from the sun definitely helps hehe...
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/21/2006 2:45:10 AM | It's true......She's 346 and she doesn't look a day over 19....Just like me...I'm really 457 years old and I don't look a day over 55......Virgin blood does work! | |
| Why don't you age? Posted: 6/21/2006 3:27:23 AM | I agree with my two friends. It is the virgin blood... I look young for my age. It is due to no smoking, not a lot of sun and great skin care products. ~Carrie B. | |
