| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 5:16:37 PM | Ladies, how do you put on your bra? Seems most woman I have dated, when I watch them get dressed, they put the bra on with the clasp in the front, then twist the bra around the right way & stuff their tits in the cups, put their arms thru the straps and they are done. I was watching on TV last year, the history of underware. They showed a bra fitter fitting a woman and showed the proper way to put on a bra. You have to bend over to get the tits dangling, put the cups around the tits, and while still bent over fasten the back strap. My question is if it is so difficult to fasten the back strap, why not buy a front closure? Arms thru straps, stuff tits into cups, fasten between tits. (and ya know, front closures would make it so much easier for us guys). | |

| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 5:20:31 PM | You mean you get to watch the woman you date get dressed? Wow,I bnever get to do that. I get to watch them walk away while giving me the finger though. But I dont think thats as good as what you get to do. Man I wonder why I dont get to date woman like that. Wait.... I wonder Why I dont get to date period.
lol.... Forums are so much fun!

| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 5:21:39 PM | I put my bra on the way you described, but I don't "stuff 'em in there" I usually lean forward a little and let them uh... fall in!
My question is if it is so difficult to fasten the back strap, why not buy a front closure?
I've tried sooooooo many bras with front clasps, and I just can't find one that's comfy! The clasps itch and scratch something terrible in the front!
|
| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 5:28:53 PM | I agree with Dilluxia. The front clasps dig in. I've never found a comfortable one. I use the fasten and spin method. Going to have to give the bend-and-drop a try to see why the bra-fitter lady would say that's the better way. | |

I get to watch them walk away while giving me the finger though.
have we been dating the same woman?
I've never paid much attention to woman putting bras on, I have enough of a problem getting them off before the sun comes up......I vote for VELCRO

| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 5:39:18 PM | | Bras that hook in back allow for a bit of adjustment as there are 2 or 3 sets of eyes to hook into. Front clasp is a one size deal and its not as easy to find a good fit. | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 5:47:13 PM | | In order to be an accomplished bra-remover, you really need to be left-handed. Unclasping a bra is usually as simple as reaching around behind the woman, pressing your left thumb against the eyelet side of the strap, and pinching the hook side of the strap with your forefinger towards your thumb. With a little practice, they'll pop right open. Even works through shirts, but I recommend you get to know the woman first before trying it. :) | |

| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 5:49:03 PM | Gee I don't remember dating you or having you watch me get dressed...but I too but it on with the hooks in the front, then spin it around and fit the girls nicely into place.
Front closure bras usually don't come in big sizes....leaves me out!

| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 6:02:24 PM | Jeez....is this a "how to wear and remove a bra" class or something.Lol....very funny Anyway, front closures( with or without the wires) are way too uncomfortable, simple as that.

| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 6:02:37 PM | | My favorite bra is Maidenform's Sweet Classic - it has a front closure and no wires | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 6:17:10 PM | I must be different. I do the clasp up at the back....what the hell do I need to see what I'm doing? Been doing it long enough to know what I'm doing. And if mine were to fall into my bra.....I'd be extatic....although I do place "them" once their in.... | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 6:52:38 PM | i put mine on c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y.. ok gravey.. i want u 2 put a bra on that way!.. i tried that ONCE.. it was mission IMPOSSIBLE!..

| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 6:53:58 PM | Sorry I can't comment I don't wear a bra. | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 6:59:38 PM | | Hey Who Me, check out the Just My Size catalog. Think you can find them on line too. They have front clasp bras that comes in big women sizes and you can even find black bra's in there and sometimes colors other than the plain white that is always available. I've actually found colorful sets of bra and panties that match. Most the time bra manufactures seem to think anything over a DD only deserves to have the choice of white. | |

| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 7:06:14 PM | I'm with Not High Maintenance... I think I own a bra... must be somewhere around here... does a bikini top count??
When I did wear a bra during the breast-feeding days... clasp was in back and I had the ability to do it up by reaching back and doing it up... I can also replace spark plugs, change the oil on my car and say the alphabet backwards. Haven't mastered the rubbing my tummy and patting my head at the same time trick though.
But if you have an A-cup like me the best "bra" is a lot of good pectoral exercises!!
|
| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 7:13:00 PM | | I've never even heard of those methods! I always put my bra on by sliding on the shoulder straps, adjusting the cups over the girls, and then reaching behind and hooking the strap. Reverse that if it's one of my strapless ones. I never knew I was weird? Those other ways sound uncomfortable! | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 7:24:26 PM | As to Logan's comment.....I prefer a man who will remove my bra with his teeth!
I also practice the spin method.

| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 7:27:45 PM | Although this isn't the "How To" , it is topic related - I received this in an e-mail the other day & thought I'd share .....
Why are the letters a, b, c, d, e, and f used in bra sizes?
A - almost boobs
B - barely boobs
C - can live with them boobs
D - damn good boobs
E - enormous boobs
F - fake boobs | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 7:34:37 PM | | I only wear front closure bras....easy on...easy off | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 7:42:36 PM | | I've seen people do the spin and adjust thing before, i thought it was wierd. as long as i have been wearing real bras, not kiddie a-cup ones when i was like 13, i have been doing the lean-over and drop them into the cups method. It works better becuase they your bra is in the proper place under your boobs,a nd it lifts them up higher....makes them look perky instead of droopy. | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 7:59:36 PM | Definitely lean over. And I don't wear front closure bras because I have a big chest, and there's nothing quite like reaching for something and having your bra unclasp (from your t*ts smushing together)! It's a little uncomfortable, and a LOT embarrassing! Front closures . . . bad idea . . . | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 8:03:51 PM | | I do the clip and turn and then the place and lift. Interessting to see if any guys can actually visualize what that looks like. | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 8:18:49 PM | I never clip in the front and spin it around. Put it on and reach around... | |
|
| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 8:31:40 PM | A - almost boobs
B - barely boobs
C - can live with them boobs
D - damn good boobs
E - enormous boobs
F - fake boobs
if D is damn good boobs...what would DD be?
anyways I do the clasp in front and then turn around then arms through then squeeze them in
and just for your info lady starlight...some of us can't help if they "droop" I have tried doing it the way you do and it doesn't work for me
|
| women & bras Posted: 6/20/2006 8:37:41 PM | | I myself do not like to wear bras.. I like the freedom feeling so don't have to bother with those awkward clasp! | |
