Posted: 6/20/2006 6:07:53 PM | Ok so I have a roommate and his gf is pretty damn loud. Heres the latest scenario. Its late I go from my room to the bathroom and I hear them go in at it. I just go about my biz and head to bed. This is not the first and probibly won't be the last. I've also had to drowned them out with increasing the volume on my TV. I'm just curious anyone else ever had this problem?

A former roommate and I used to have a contest and we would see who could have the most noise coming from their room. Now it was Hell if one picked up and the other didn't as you would then be extra noisy just to torture the other guy.  | |

And it annoyed me at first, but I realized I was partly annoyed because I was jealous, and that maybe it was a good excuse to leave the house for an hour or two. I had to suck it up because that's what happens when you have roommates. I had to be happy for her that she was getting some! I liked to bug her about it anyway so I think she was respectful enough about the noise to not keep me up late at night on a worknight or anything like that....but then I'm a pretty heavy sleeper.
You have to be prepared to mention it to him if it is actually interfering with your sleeping or anything, but other than that it's just one of those things you have to put up with. | |

I overheard my cousin and her husband once when they were visiting us and it was a very uncomfortable situation for all of us the next day....
